I hope you guys can help me. I've made a leave-in hair conditioner/stlyer. I really like it but it's too foamy. I'm using Crothix as my thickener - I like it because it keeps my formula translucent, however, I wonder if it is causing the foaminess. I don't really want to give on the Crothix if possible, I'm using just enough to get the desired thickness.
Here are my ingredients:
Water
Aloe Vera Gel
Honeyquat
Hydrovance
Glycerin
Cyclometicone
WS Dimethicone
Crothix
I recently added a bit of Polysorbate 80 to see if that would help with the foaminess. It might've helped a bit, but not noticeably so.
Any help you guys could lend would be greatly appreciated.
