  1. I have a customer that loves it in everything candles, soap, perfume, tarts, lotions...she says AH is a dead on dupe of the Avon scent.

    I just dont care for it personally..but then I dont like patchouli or lilac, but I have to sell or I would lose $$$ from my faithful patch customers

  2. I understand that..but the cold throw is non existant. It is hard to sell a candle with no cold throw!! I usually dont have to let it cure..but I will see if it gets stronger in a week or so..if not..no can do!

  3. No smoking here either..and these were closed up boxes in my moving crates so it wasnt the light either..the first time I saw it I thought maybe the florescent light in the shop area..but the new ones in my desk have yellowed too!

    What a bummer!

  4. Has anyone else had trouble with the Glossy Ink Jet labels turning YELLOW :mad:

    I just pulled out a couple cases of candles to take to my sons daycare..they are having a little "show" for the moms. I have had these in storage since my last show around Thanksgiving. Most of the have turned yellow! This is the first year I have used the glossy. I just checked the 6 or so sheets I have left in the drawer..they are yellow too!!

    I love the glossy look..but I dont want my labels looking old and yellow in just a few months.(or ever)

    Any ideas why this happened?

  5. I will be writing a letter..nicely worded of course.

    My husband says he bets it also has something to do with getting people to stay the night in town an extra night..eat at their restraurants ect. They are the chamber of commerce!

    It is not my fault we were busy and I didnt leave the tent often and when I did..you werent at your booth:p

    It is just a hardship to take off an extra day of work and the extra expense..It would really bring down my profit margin.

  6. Yes I see that and I am not attending this year..and I love this show. I do not see it as profitable to take off work on Friday..drive there set up drive home..we do not stay overnight and if we did this would be another expense..not to mention the raise in fee. I do have all handcrafted stuff and truly never saw a problem at this show??? We have several return customers every year at this show :( But I am unwilling to jump through their hoops!

  7. i asked about the wood roses back in nov, fyi the fo eats the glue and they all fall apart. sure glad i didn't waste the money on them.

    I emailed the company and asked about this..he said one drop from a dropper onto the rose and that should do it. He says he has never had one complaint or issue brought to him.

  8. I like the look with the glow:)

    but I agree the ribbon should go before the burn..I had a lady come to my booth and told me she would never buy another travel tin candle because hers caught fire..so I asked what happened..the truth finally came out..she let it burn all day and the candlemaker had sold it with a ribbon tied around it.

    Why add another liability??;)
