  1. I am having issues with CandleWarmers, ect warmers.

I don't know if I am having really bad luck or what!

2 halogen bulbs burnt out in less than a month, plug in stopped working after a month, ceramic dish and bowl stopped working after a month, and another warmer is in question about not working( I haven't gotten it back from customer yet)

This is all from Christmas sales.

What is you policy for defective items?

I am frustrated and this isn't the 1st time I have had issues with their warmers. Leaking warmers with Tuscan Brown Illumination and plug ins and Snowman arms painted backwards. ect....

Sorry so long. I am venting before I call them.

  2. My best sellers have been the square black illumination and white tuscan, also people love the dish and warmer(no light bulb to replace), and plug ins sell really well for me. I would worry about the price point of the new warmers with the fans for my customers.

  3. Thank you so much for the replies. I really appreciate it. :)

I have plans on adding candles to what I sell, but haven't been really happy with what I have made yet. Scent throw too weak and wick problems.

B&B looks interesting too! I am paranoid about making something wrong and growing bacteria in it. I have little OCD about things though.

  4. My warmer is the Snowman Illumination from Candlewarmers, ect. I usually throw mine right in the trash, but was testing the clamshells because some of my customers pour the wax back in before throwing if away.

What do you tell your customer to do with the old wax?

  5. I melted a clamshell(impacts) after pouring wax from my warmer into it. (no problems with them melting when originally pouring, just re pouring after the wax lost its scent) It even melted all the way causing it to leak. I have had them mis-shape, but not leak. I did not have this problem with my clamshells from Millcreek. Have any of you had this problem or is it just a one time thing?

  6. Just wondering- How are your sales are right now?

This is my 1st year as a business, but knew that things would slow down in January(slow and steady crawl) When does business pick up again? This time has been nice to restock and get all my paperwork caught up though.

  7. I am loving all the ideas, you all are so awesome! I am wondering why I didn't think of adding the little jelly beans on a tart or putting a couple on the clamshells.

I did order a 1 oz mold yesterday of Jelly Bean and thinking that I am going to start experimenting with these ideas. Yay

    Thank you Thank you

  8. I am using clamshell molds right now for tarts.

It is funny that you said use jelly bean mold because I ordered one and used it once and I was trying to decide if it would be too time consuming. The mold is 25 small jellybeans. I think I am going to revisit this idea. My plan was to use the bakery bags to hold them. I love the idea to call them jillybeans.

  9. My business name is Jillybean Candles. I came up with this because I wanted to make a label for candles I made for Christmas gifts ( back in 2004) and thought Jillybean Candles was fun. Jillybean is my nickname and has been forever:) My logo was something I made while messing with an art program and my husband loved it. He convinced me to use it and now I love it.

It was just this July that I decided to give it all I have and it is quite addicting I must say.
