What melting method has been most effective for you?
I tried a roasting pan and after nearly 3 hours at max temp the melted wax wasn't near hot enough. I jumped ship and did a double boiler on the stove and the wax reached optimum temp within 5 mins. I colored, scented and poured in no time.
Any recommendations?

Brand new to this hobby. What do you seasoned folks recommend to clean wax out pour pots? I don't think it makes sense to start a new batch with the previous residual wax, scent & color in the pot, or does it not matter? TIA!

Thank you so much for your input. I'll have to add a couple to my order.

I am brand new to this forum and need some opinions. I have grown tired of spending tons of money on tarts and I am ready to make my own. I plan to place an FO order with NG, want to keep it simple with one supplier to start. I am hoping you might have some suggestions for great smelling Fall/Holiday scents... TIA!

P.S. I chose NG because they have a couple of scents that I just can't get enough of! I should note that this is a joint venture with my sister and we are looking at it as a possible fundraiser for my nephew's school if all goes well. Thanks again!

I am really fortunate to live in an area where people like to support the "little guy". Primitives is super popular around here so that helps immensely! Wishing everyone the best...
