  1. My last two orders of mango butter from EBC was very firm. I just recieved five pounds of mango butter. and unlike my last order its very soft like pudding. I put it in the refridgerator and it returns to pudding. my shea butter stays firm. my house temp is 78 or below. Is this normal? Thank you.

  2. Check with the supplier. I stuck to adding 1% oils because BC told us that there was enough preservative in the base already to allow for the addition of 1% oils plus FO. I am betting they aren't the only ones that do this. Just that little bit was enough to make a noticable change for me.

I emailed EBC about adding Squalane to the luxurious lotion base. They E:mailed This back to me.

Since they are oils or butters 3% should still be ok. On the squalane since it is an oil going higher may make it too greasy. For the butters up to 10 % should be ok but feel will be much altered.

I did this today , with Shea Oil 2% and Cocoa butter at 3%. I just wanted a more oliy feel. I'll use it for a week or two then put it on my site if its okay. I'm Still going to use the Squalane , just wante to test with sheal butter oil.

  3. I made a hair serum today. I used Jojoba oil because its stable and doesnt feel so greasy, castor oil because it softens and shines for a long time, watermelon seed oil because its stable, not greasy and a good selling point, vitamin e because it will help the castor oil and is also a good selling point. For course african american hair.

    .15 watermelon seed

    .90 castor

    .90 jojoba

    .05 vitamin e

packaging will be in a 2 oz bottle with orifice

I tried it and waiting to see how it turns out .

does anyone have an opinion? Would love to hear it.
