  1. I sent a message by email today. I do intend to reverse charges on my credit card if I do not receive the product 59 days from my order date. That is too long to wait without communication, ill relative, or not. Most business owners do not go on vacation without either leaving operations to a trusted employee, or checking frequently on the status by computer. Most smart phones work in a hospital setting, I work in one, and use my phone daily. Free WiFi is available. Sorry if I sound unsympathetic, but to go 2 months without communication is not professional. This is the first time I have had this happen with SGS, and the scents I have received in the past have been spectacular.

  2. How do their fragrances throw in soy? I purchased some samples, but we are having our kitchen remodeled, so I have not been able to pour candles or make soap. The Day Spa smells pretty similar to CS, the Origins Ginger is very close to the original, and Autumn Wreath type smells right on, all OOB. I am hoping these hold up in wax. They also have a sister site on Etsy: fragranceoil. Wonder if they manufacture for NG and CS, or are just duping scents?

  3. I was happy to get my CD wicks shipped out quickly. I haven't opened the box to see if everything smelled like an ashtray. Hope not! I am certainly sad to see Tennessee close. Great service and great oils. BTW, all you Spicey Apples & Peaches lovers will be happy to know that AH/RE should be getting their version in at the end of the week, according to FB. I know I will try it!

  4. MMS (The Sage) will dupe a fragrance, they require two ounces. Since Rhonda of Moonworks has apparently duped Solis's Energy, I wonder if she has a source to dupe this? I will contact her. I am about 40 minutes away from her. I would definitely be interested in duping Heartfelt's Rocky Mtn Pine, it is the BEST pine/fir FO I have ever had the pleasure of working with!

  5. You picked a good supplier to start with, AH/RE's oils are great, and customer service is excellent! Bonfire Bliss is one of my favorites, be sure to pour this early, and let cure. Melts will scent the house for 2 days in their votive/tart wax with a good cure. Celtic Moonspice, Pumpkin Creme Brulee and Oak Barrel Cider are my other fall standby's from AH/RE. Butternut Pumpkin is also a good one. To screw up the works here, I will throw in a favorite from Peak's: Cranberry Apple Marmalade. That one is requested again and again! HTH!

  6. Seamoss, Kentish Rain, & Wasabi for fresh scents. Beau Brummel works well in MP & CP. Yuzu retains it's citrus scent, and White Tea and Ginger is herbally fresh. I combined the two for my last batch of CP, and it is great! Juniper Sage would also be a good scent that guys would like, and also throws well in a parasoy candle! If I remember anymore, I will post again! BB is great for posting CP results, and they ship extra quick. Do watch the Seamoss, it is a quick mover, but worth it!

  7. Just wanted to pipe in here, being south of you guys in Noblesville! I love Millcreek's Cozy Home. Have not tried too many others! Would love to try their soy lotion, and certainly would like to have a pick up option. I do use a blend of either 464 or KY 125 and IGI 4627 for containers.

  8. I know you are reluctant to name this stalking supplier, but I certainly do NOT want to do business with someone like this, and would appreciate it if you could at least throw a hint or two at us. I want to make sure I am not giving this person ANY of my hard-earned money!

  9. As Noodle said, I might call the company, and ask to speak to the manager. Then voice your concerns and copy him/her on the rude emails. That is no way to treat any customer, no matter what size the order. If you are not treated politely, I would forget that FO, and take my business elsewhere!

  10. For some reason, orange is the color that keeps popping up in my head when it comes to "Karma"! It would be cool to do a tye-dye swirl in some neons for your CP. BTW, is the Daystar version of Karma close to the original? I received a tester of Only Fragrances's version, and I don't think it is that close.

  11. I have ordered KY parasoy votive wax and FO's twice from AH/RE since they purchased KY. I have had nothing but GREAT customer service, and all oils have thrown well that I have tested. The Zucchini Bread tealight that came with my first order fragranced my entry way & half bath downstairs, and went all the way to the upstairs hall. Vickey is heavily involved in RE right now, I don't think oil "recipes" have been changed. I have not, however purchased Plumberry Spice from RE yet, because I still have about 7 oz left over from KY. I did receive the Plumberry Spice tealight in my second order, but have not burned it yet. It did smell like Plumberry Spice to me!

  12. Peak's is DEFINITELY a YAY! Their oils are high quality, they have been in business a long time, and their customer service is second to none! (And, I don't work for them!) That Black Canyon will blow you out of the house, and the Cranberry Orange Marmalade is fantastic in fall and winter. For an unusual, cozy scent, try the French Vanilla Amber. It ROCKS!!

  13. @icecold: it is NOT coconut water fresh from the coconut. It is the ready to drink coconut MILK in the carton. It does heat up fast when you add lye, you have to keep stirring with a wire whisk. I really thought this was a nice, creamy bar when used with the Shortening & Shea recipe. I used the new Crisco for the shortening.

  14. I used the new ready-to-drink Pure Coconut in place of water in the Shortening and Shea CP recipe. Since it is not concentrated, I did not use any extra water. The recipe calls for sugar and salt. I did not add any sugar, just the salt the recipe called for, since the Pure Coconut is already sweetened. I used it cold from the fridge, and blended with a wire whisk to bring the temp down. It gave a very creamy bar! I would definitely use this again!
