Can anyone suggest which 3 wicks to use for a 6 x 6 round pillar? Can be cotton, LX, HTP, square braid... Thanks, just need a starting point,
Andy

I think the top one on the left is a Honeypot.

Just wanted to thank everyone for all their input. I really appreciate it:wink2:

Dee... no, I live in Montreal, Quebec. You? Ihave looked at the Wicks and Wax molds, but it seems like the corners aren't as wide as the ones from Voyageur. Do you know what I mean? I prefer those. It's really bothering me, because I thought that I once saw them in a 4" x 4" x 4", but I don't remember where.

Does anyone have any idea?:undecided

Maybe this will help

Thought I may ask one more mold question since I am on a roll (he, he, he). I can't find a square mold with rounded corners for the life of me (except Candlechem and voyageur). Voyageur has exactly the shape I want (corners have a large radius), except they are too small. I would prefer a little bigger. I know this is a tough one. Would anyone happen to know?:rolleyes2
Thanks AGAIN,
Andy

Well, thanks for trying TLC. I appreciate it. And thanks for the info Amberlei, it was helpful. In that case, would anyone know the differences between the alum and metal molds? It seems that The metal ones come in so many more shapes and varieties, but of course, the alums are seamless...
Thanks,
Andy

Would anyone know the differences in outcome between acrylic, alluminum, and metal or tin molds, and what the benefits would be in spending more on the acrylics? Thanks,
Andy

I'm not quite sure which silicone I have, but I know it is clear in color and I got it at Home Depot. Just want to warn you that once it dries (about 30 seconds), it will NEVER come off.

Hello all. My dilemma is that I want to order some new molds and can't decide which sizes to buy. Either the 3" x 4", 3" x 6", and 3" x 9"....... or
3" x 4.5", etc... I know it is a personal decision, but why would someone order one instead of the other? Hope someone can help:rolleyes2 . Thanks

May be a stupid question, but here it goes... When making three layer pillars with 3 different colors, which color wax do you fill the relief holes with?
Thanks,
Andy:rolleyes2

Thanks Trish :rolleyes2 . I'm trying to delete this, but it's not working.

Hi everyone . I'm a little confused (for a change). They say you're supposed to heat wax 5-10 deg hotter between layers. However, if you do that, will the candle still end up with a rustic look?
Thanks,
Andy

I absolutely adore your choice of colors. WOW!!!

Being a BIG cosmo fan myself , I would say the color resembles a ripe watermelon (the red part of course)!

They may not be what you were looking for, but they are beautiful. Very earthy and woulf probably go with most decor (LIKE MINE, he, he)

Where did you get that price? When I enter the site it shows $17.95. They also sell the same ones at Taylored Concepts for $8.95. I'm actually trying to find these in Canada. Has anyone seen them or anything similar? Thanks:)

Thanks guys:cheesy2: .

Hi all. Got a question...
Does anyone know where I can purchase quality candle holders of all types at manufacturers or wholesale prices, like those offered by the leading candle party companies?
Thanks,
Andy:)

Those are great ideas Devra. Maybe the hot apple pie should then be 'New York, New York' .
Too oily!!!

Hello, and a merry christmas to all. I have a question. I made some mottled pillars using 'pre-blended mottled wax', 1 oz per lb FO, and 175 degree. They turned out well, however there was a TON of oil surrounding the pillars. Would anyone know why? I know there is supposed to be some, but soooo much? Thanks for any input,
