You mean the big toilet mints? I don't really know what scent they are, but they kinda taste like cherry...Steve

OH good points! I wasn't about to mess with the ones that are store bought, I was really hoping for someone to say that there is a kit somewhere, or that a supplier sells all the stuff to make them. Man, I wish they did!!!
-
LOLOLOL! Wishful thinking!
-
Has anyone figured this out? I would love to be able to make these work! Wonder what the mystery ingredient is?!
-
Oh, thanks! I will try those. I was also wondering if they would fit into a bubble mailer, but the Priority box sounds like a perfect solution.
-
What do you think is the cheapest way to ship ten clamshells? I usually just go with flatrate boxes, but am wondering if there is a cheaper way. Thanks!

LOL! I love that industrial cherry bathroom scent too! Hehe. Maybe I'm sick.
-
Very pretty! I bet the McFlurries will be overflowing now!

OMG didn't even notice that :laugh2:Yes, Glad your still with us Jenny.:laugh2:That's about when I started too.
That's cool that we started here at around the same time!

LOL! That's what I was wondering. Hehe.

you are getting an education here! Whatcha talking about?
on a more practical note it does take a lot of money to become knowledgeable in chandlering (i just made up a new word) and to do all the research and testing to become a professional in your field.
exactly!!!

Cute!

Hehe! Yep, been here a while, but I will still gladly accept all the warm welcomes!!!! :) It sure does take deep pockets, that is no lie! BUT, I love it, I can't help myself! What student loan money? Ohh, I have to pay that back???? LOLOLOL!

Check me out from last October!!! Wow, have I come a long long way further and further into addiction! I so love this place
-
LOL! I like it!

Actually she probably is referring the Chinese/Taiwain imports at WalMart, even though those aren't typically palm/feather wax. It can and is done where the outside is fragrance and granulated wax fills the rest of the pillar in the standard $2 for the 3x6 pillars that morph when burned.
BUT the rest of what she said is hokey pokey.
And poor her, because MOST chandlers don't do that stuff if they're handcrafting.
I'm going to have to start using the phrase, "that's hokey pokey." I like it!

Oooh!!!!! That sounds fun!!!!!

I like the site, I think it looks really put together; I have to admit it hurts my eyes - and I am 25 , but overall really nice! The only thing that concerns me is that you have 170 scents!!! How do you do it?!! I can't even keep up with the 25 or so that I have!
-
I have heard of people dipping a pillar candle into a colored wax, and the inside is still white, but who knows.
-
Very nice!!!

Grass would be a good scent for this. You could call it touchdown or first down, or something like that. That is what I am doing for my SIL for Christmas. Haven't quite come up with a name I love though. And just color it in the color of whichever team.

YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!! You must be very excited! :yay:

That is cool that they responded!
here is the response ....Hello Kimberly,
Thank you for contacting Bounce with your question and I will be more than happy to help you.
I did ask a couple team members about the smell of the Outdoor Fresh sheets and the most popular comment that I got is it smells like if you were walking through a jungle somewhere and then a breeze came in from the ocean. I also think that it smells like walking into a Flower shop's green room.
I hope this helps with your question and if you do have any more questions or comments I do ask that you contact Bounce again.
Thank you,
Jeremiah

pretty cool that they replied...

I was in a YCC about a year ago, and I saw a lady doing this; so I decided to try it for myself. For whatever reason, it worked. I could smell more on the inside of the lid, than I smelled from the cold throw of the candle. ?????? Needless to say, I bought nothing.
