It's alot different than what we do with the candles but I've played with that process also. One thing to mention when doing that with soy is it will not stop blending. What looks great when you do it can look like crap in a month and vice versa.

The woodwicks are working good, the crackling is good. They aren't my favorite candle but when we ran low during the Christmas season you would of thought we were beating kids at the store with how many customers complained there weren't enough out.

A couple doblewicks I did for someone. My wife manages the store so she gets the kudos on the storefront.

The colors will blend together once the wax melts it is dye and it takes alot less dye to do it than you would think. It's just a process I've developed from always messing with the candle. I can't stop playing with the wax. You know testing isn't just for burn and scent throw.

I've tried all of the above and IMO none are worth trying to sell to any type of customer. One is perfect the next won't light the next will light then not keep lit and none put out the aroma a cotton wick will.

MY reason for pouring that cool is I have less frosting and I usulay don't need to use a heat gun when I pour that cool. I'm sorry I don't pour tarts any more. You sound like you are mixing the FO at the proper temp though.

That should be fine unless your pouring into the plastic tart shells you could slightly melt them at higher temps. I pour at 105-100 with 464 but whatever works for you, if you like your reults don't change anything.

Red Hot Cinnamon from CS? I've had people take the lids off and it just about knock them off there feet when they just stick their noses in the jar.

Just make sure you bring enough inventory and plan something special to make people stop at your booth, you'll do fine.

Go with one that has the color cartriges seperate. That way if you run out of color you won't have to replace the whole cartrige just the color.

I prefer aluminum also, I pour cool and the aluminum dissipates heat quicker and my made in the USA ones have great lips for pouring....my china ones not as good.

They should easily last a month. Vanilla is funny isn't it? I left a jar soak for a month and they were still sticking to the sides.

Maybe you need to be in Michigan they are ready for Christmas scens here.

My worries also. I can't believe you can be 1/3 rd the price and the same quality.

I may be like many in this forum but I've crunched the numbers and just can't see asking what I feel is too much money from my customers to make this product. That and the fact I'm not a big fan of these and so far I'm passing.
