I know its strange that they told me that, he says some scents are strong and some are weak, the ones that are strong you have to water them down, but Im like all of you, water and oil dont mix.

Just want to warn everybody do not buy from Texas Candle supply, I was going to place an order last week from them, and the owner told me that they water there scents down because they are to strong, just thought you all might want to know about this.

I just wanted to add that I would test to make sure before I used it.

I dont believe it is gel compatible, because they have a list of there gel compatible scents and I didnt see it on the gel compatible list. I dont use there scents, but Im pretty sure its not gel compatible. HTH

From past experience, the warmers dont get that hot, to melt the gel properly. Therefore i dont put gel candles on the warmers.

I make the 5-inch pies also, but never the made just the pie slices, I beliieve you there is a mold for the slices, dont know. You might want to check around, Im pretty sure somebody has a mold for those. Sorry I cant help you more.

All of my gel candles involving sand like seascapes and etc, I make forever candles, that way I dont have to worry about the sand catching fire.

Ive been making gel candles for about 5 years now, and I always use 3/4 of a ounce of gel compatible fragrance oil per pound of medium density gel.

I think you misunderstood me, a forever candle is double glassed gel candle where a tealight holder or a votive holder is inserted on top of the gel, there is no wick in the candle, only the votive or tealight burns, that is how I make all of my gels.

All of my seascapes i make are forever candles the safest way to go, plus the customers like them better.

You might want to try Bittercreeks EZ Soy, I have been using this soy wax for 5 yrs now and have had great success.

I use htp 105 on all of my pies, Im very well pleased with them.
