  1. Hello everyone...I am making a slow return to candle making after a few years. I have been picking out candle jars and I have three that I would like to offer. My question is, for those of you that carry multiple jars, do you offer all of the styles in all scents? Or do you use the different styles for different lines of fragrances?  I hope this makes sense. They aren't just different sizes. They are different styles as well (completely different jars). I just can't decide which I want to do. Thanks for your opinions!

Toasted Marshmallow from Rustic Escentuals smells more like a straight marshmallow to me. I don't smell anything "toasted" or "toasty" or "burnt".

I have customers who love it and it throws great in 4794 and 6006.
(I haven't tried RE's new Campfire Marshmallow yet.)

There are several Vendors that pop up in a Google Search for "Butter Rum Fragrance oil

I see a Hot Buttered Rum at Nature's Garden. I've never tried it - but it has some good reviews. NG has had more hits than misses for me so it might be worth a try.
    (And the price is reasonable.)

I hope you find one - hot buttered rum Lifesavers were my favorite flavor as a kid - I bet it would be terrific in candles.

    :-)

I agree completely and I love the RE Toasted Marshmallow. I will probably change the name to Vanilla Marshmallow because that's more what I smell. I am testing it today actually and it has filled the whole upstairs of my house with marshmallow-goodness!! It's a good one.

  3. Its been a couple of years honestly. I am just getting back in to this obsession. However, I don't remember anything burnt. It was very pleasantly spicy; definitely smell the coffee too.  Good and strong! Let me know what you think.

And yes, used in candles with a parasoy blend and CD wicking

  4. Are you wanting plain cinnamon or pumpkin? Most of my favorites are blends. ICS Cinnamon Buns is my favorite cinnamon. And AH/RE Pumpkin Creme Brulee is my favorite pumpkin. I am trying some new pumpkins from Backwoods also. I will let you know how they are.

  6. I find it helpful to have a notebook and just start brainstorming. Jot down any ideas, no matter how silly or crazy. It helps to get the mind turning and don't stop until you fill a whole page or come up with the perfect thing. It worked for both my candle business and photography business! (Briar Creek Candle Company-which is a combination of two places I have lived, and Dreamlight Photography-which just kinda happened) if you get it narrowed down to a few ideas, come back and share. Maybe we can help! These may be taken but my first ideas would be: Arizona Scent Works or Mamaws Scent Shop (to go along with your other biz) MAke sure to check anything that you choose with the business registries to make sure you are not using someones name ;)

  7. I will say that I think Scentsy changes up the descriptions of their fragenaces sometimes to throw people off of duplication...there are some that are obvious dupes of something else, but the descriptions are way different.
