I am using the zinc wicks with great results. I have only tested the 8oz jj and a 16 oz classic jar so far. A 44z works great in the jj and I use 2 in the classic jar.

I've also tried the CD's and also got good results.

I am far from an expert on zinc wicks but I've been doing some research and testing recently. Here's my opinion....

The zinc wicks will vary from suppliers...whether they get them from different facilities, they are coated in different wax's, or whatever I don't know, but I do know that some will perform differently than others. Not all of them of course, but I have gotten ones that didn't perform as well.

The second number I believe has something to do with the speed that the fibers are woven together.

You could try to darken it with a bit of black, however that may not make the red you are looking for. I get a great true red color with cinnamon red dye chips in soy wax. Usually 1 per pound does pretty good, sometimes I'll add alittle more to get it darker.

I have been wanting to try a cranberry marmalade, so I guess I'll try candlescience for that since you both recommend it.

I got Hansel & Gretels house last week as a sample and am hoping that one works because it smells great.

Yep, I've had no luck with the simply soy wicks either. I tested them in jj's and apoth and never really got the burn I was looking for.

Thanx Candlelady for the info. I do test each of my scents a number of times before they are added to my line.

I will rephrase the question and ask....for those of you who use 6006 would you mind sharing a few fall FO's that your customers love??

Hi All!!

I am very new to using IGI6006 and am totally in love with it. I didn't intend to switch wax's, so I'm hoping that some of you will have some suggestions on which scents are fabulous in this wax???

I currently only order fo's from 3 places, BCN/BCS, Natures Garden, and Candlescience, but would like to try some fall/x'mas scents from others if they really throw in 6006.

I did a search and already found a few that I want to try, but I'm looking more holiday scents.

Hi Everyone. I'm excited to hear about this....I didn't know there was anything like this in PA. And so close to where I live!!! I may have to attend!!!

I wanted to let everyone know that the Meadows is FUN!!! And they are in the process of building a new casino which I believe is supposed to open in April. I've been there several times and always have a good time. The Outlets are really nice too. I'm not much of a clothes shopper so I didn't pay much attention to those stores, but they had lots of knick knack stores and kitchen-wares. You will definately enjoy yourself.
