I only make 6oz. & 8oz. tins. Peak's has a cotton wick that works really well. I use a C-80 in my 6oz. & a C-85 in my 8oz. Burns right to the edge with no wax left on the side. Just my 2 cents.

I have a 5 yr. old with asthma. I've been making candles for about 2 years. I haven't noticed a problem when I'm mixing or burning, but different kids different reactions. I would just talk to your doctor and see what he thinks.

I vote for JS!!! I have also switched most of my fragrance line to them. I have not been dissapointed thus far!! I do have to say if you haven't tried Chestnuts & Brown Sugar from JS your missing out. I have ladies fighting over this one!

Hi all!!
Needing a little help. I am getting ready to venture in to the world of pie candles. I have been doing a lot of research and my brain is fried!!! I have seen so many great pictures on this site I thought some of you would like to share where you purchase your items. I have looked at over 20 sites and I just don't know who to order from. So I guess my question is for those of you who make bakery style candles where do you do most of your ordering from. I see a lot of places have all the embeds and the things I need, but no gel wax. I would like to order from the same place if that's possible. Any advice would be helpful!!!!

Hi All!!
I was on this board before it went down months ago. I do more reading than posting.
Now that I've had time to sit down and catch my breathe I just wanted to say HI!! Hope everything is going well for everyone!!
By the way that's my dorky daughter in the pic. She was a nerd last year for Halloween.

If your looking for a true pumpkin Bitter Creek North has one called Perfect Pumpkin. It's actually from Wick Your Wax, but BCN now carries their fragrances. Throws well in 100% soy.
How many here are from the old board?
