Thanks everyone! I ended up using a 1/2 pound of the strong soap and melting it into another 2 pounds of soap. Much nicer than the first batch

They look fabulous!!

So I wanted to make a clay and tea tree oil soap. I must have gone overboard with the essential oil (never used it before). Here's what I put in:
2 pounds of goats milk soap
2 Tablespoon of sea clay
1 Tablespoon tea tree oil
My kitchen stinks so bad right now! LOL Do you think I can rebatch it with another 2 pounds of soap and save it? Or did I totally over do it?

This is all the buzz among my fellow hair bow makers. I'm just hoping they make an amandment to it soon because there are going to be a lot of crafters who have to close up shop

Go to Hobby Lobby's website - they usually have a 40% off printable coupon. You can only use it on one item and only one coupon per day - but you can slowly stock up that way
-
I have one also - but I don't use it anymore. It's good if you just want to show off pictures of what you have to local customers. For me, it's better to pay the $7 a month and have a real site - even though it is still under construction

They are really easy - here's a site that shows you how

That is crazy!!!! I'm not a seasoned candle maker and even *I* know that's not gonna work! LOL
-
Just wanted to share some pictures of the hairbows/clips that I make.

It sounds like a pretty way to give a candle as a gift. But I think if I tried selling them that way my customers would be wondering what I'm hiding

If anyone is ever in a hurry you can actually make it yourself!! Just print your words/image (make sure you do a mirror image) on transfer paper (the kind they use for doing T-shirts, etc) and then follow the directions and iron it onto your ribbon.

If you are looking for something non-candle related the diaper cakes are great! Also, I've seen diaper wreaths which are adorable. I actually make and sell diaper bears. Here's a picture of a couple I made.
