I have not used CB-3, but I do use GB 464. I am liking the wax. I occasionally have some small amount of frosting, but not always. I do color my candles, even deep dark shades, and don't have a problem. I love the scent throw it gives both cold and hot. Other than my own stupidity I have not had any wicking problems.

Do you mix your dye and FO in the pot? How do you clean you Presto pot? I have been mixing my dye and FO in the pot then pouring, but I am not sure if I should be washing it out or just keep wiping it with a paper towel?

Thanks for the welcome. I have already had some wonderful help since I posted this. I will probably as way to many questions, but for now I am writing them down and searching first.
Thanks again

Hello, I am Samantha a newbie to the forum. I have spent the last 2 weeks reading through a lot of the posts. I just wanted to say thank you so much. I was having a few problems with the tops of my candles using GB464, and after reading through the posts I think I have figured it out. There is so much wisdom here that it is overwhelming at times. I have been making candles for 4 years now. I just started using GB464 a few month ago. I am pouring and testing, working out the specs. I am also using Eco Wicks, so far so good, but after hearing about CD wicks I may order some and try them and see which I like better. I mostly make candles for my self, and occasionally for my family and close friends. Well again I just wanted to say thank you and look forward to learning from all of you.

My husband says the same thing to me about my candles and their prices.
