I'm late coming onto this thread, but my DT Status jars say Made in the USA also, with the same UPC code as Going2Adopt's picture. I just got them this week. The lids from Candles and Supplies do not work. I have them and tried. I have some coming from Lonestar, so I hope they work.
Luanne
Hi, Luanne. Did you have any luck with the Lonestar lids fitting?
TIA,
Lynne

You're welcome!

I don't know if this site has been posted before but it has instructions for making a soap mold. http://backtobasicliving.com/blog/make-your-own-soap-mold/

No here’s the issue. The 3” paper cap that you removed from our tube was shrunk down to fit that specific tube. The caps we send you will be damp right off the press. I wanted you to be aware of this.
So, how would one shrink them to fit our Status jars?

Wow, I got my samples from Custom Paper Tubes today. They sent a bunch and the craft paper cap/lid fits the jar from Dollar Store perfect. Just as above. Got a brochure but no price list. Has anyone got prices from them for the 3" cap?
Also got 2 samples from Chicago Paper Tube, very nice but neither fit this same jar. One (3.085") is a little too small and the other (3.265") is too big. The larger of the 2 is colored black, looks nice but it doesn't fit my jar. No price on these either.
Maybe we can do a co-op on the lids from Custom Paper Tubes? Has anyone found out what the price is? If not, I can email him and find out.

Also got another reply from Custom Paper. I have sent my address to both, Chicago and Custom. It will be nice to compare.=QUOTE]
Thanks for checking in to this. Please let us know how they compare, price, etc. I sure hope these will be an option.

I will send him that picture and tell him it is from a sample kit someone else got from your company. And she says it fits great. Just sent... so we'll see what he says. Thanks
I filled it half way with some leftover popcorn and turned it upside down and shook it and the lid didn't come off. It fits nice and snug. lol

[quote name=another reply..
I don’t believe that is our cap. The jar doesn’t look familiar. Send me a jar and I will see if we have a cap to fit it.

The pic I posted above is a Dollar Tree jar and the tube in the picture that the lid came from is from Custom Paper Tubes. Can you email him that pic? Maybe he'd recognize the tube and know what size it is. Unless, they have more than one tube with that horse design on it.

Here's a couple of quick pics. Not great but was in a hurry. I'll try to post a better one later. I tried the cap on 6 different Status jars and it fit them all. Snug, but it fit. I like them snug, anyway. Not sure why he insists they won't fit. The tube in the pic is the one the lid came off of.

I think Homestead Survival needs to change their name to Homestead Inferno.
I must spend too much time on Facebook. I wanted to *Like* your comment. lol

I got my sample kit and one of the lids that was on a tube fits the status jar perfectly. Very snug. I'll take a picture tomorrow.

Thanks, ladysj, I'll wait and see what you find out. I wish there was a way to make these but it would probably take a machine. I'm looking around on the Internet. I'll let ya know if I find anything out.

Did any one get a price on these or find out if we can purchase just the caps? I got my sample today and one of the lids fits the status jar and looks really nice. It also would save a lot on shipping the candles. The flat glass lids look nice but are so darn heavy.

Hi, I'm looking for lids for the 14 oz. Aristocrat DOF glass. Does anyone know if they make such a thing? The dimensions are: Height :4 1/8" Rim :3 3/8" Base :3 1/8"
Mine are frosted but they look like this:
TIA for any help you can give.

Pretty sure Candle Science measures by weight. I bought a 16 oz. bottle of Lemon Verbena a couple of years ago and there was a note on the bottle that 16 oz. wouldn't fit in the bottle so they sent the extra in a little bottle.

Thanks for telling me we can buy the silver lids from Filmore by the piece.
I think there are nicer crystal clear plastic lids that will fit the Status jar and you can get them at LoneStar Candle Supply in Dallas, Tx. They have glass and silver lids for the Status jars too.
You're welcome and thanks for letting me know about the lids at LoneStar. I'm going to go check them out.

Hi, do you think the Candles and Supplies 67-69mm lid would fit the Status jar? Also, you can order the Fillmore lids by the piece.
-
Just an FYI. I don't buy Yankee candles but I'm going to watch it anyway.

I do remember when I received the Lemon Verbena I received the regular 16 oz. bottle and then a little one also with some in it and the label said that 16 oz. (by weight) wouldn't fit in the 16 oz. bottle.

Could it be the lemon FO? I had that happen with CS Lemon Verbena. Out of hundreds of candles I've made that was the only time I had that happen. Never made candles with it again just used it in soap. I used 444 wax and HTP wicks. Probably 8 - 10% FO. It's been awhile but that's what I always use. The whole top of the apothecary jar was afire.

Luanne,
Thank you so much for the info and update. I will probably order from EAP Innovations also since I live in Michigan and the shipping will probably be cheaper for me, too. Thanks again. Appreciate it.
