  2. the trick to having scented polymer clay is to mix the scent with the glaze. I would recommend a very strong scent, clear in color.

    1. bake your clay creations let them cool completely

    2. pour a small amount of  sculpey gloss/glaze into a small container (I use little dixie cups) add a drop or two of your scent and mix it together

don't mix in to much scent or glaze will just be a sticky mess.

    3. add a thin layer of this glaze mix to your creations, let it dry and add another layer etc...until you have a nice shiny smelly good creation.

  3. My must haves... white, black, trans, brown, yellow, green, blue and orange I do a lot of color blending unless its a really particular color im needing.

My tool must haves... pasta machine, small hand roller, exacto knife/ long blade and basic shape cutters, circles, square etc for texture I use whatever I can find or that looks interesting, I use netting from old bath scrubbies, believe me it makes great scales for fish or reptiles, tooth picks for small detailing, I'll use just about anything to get a different interesting texture.

  4. its usually the first and last stitch that makes things slope, what i do is count my stitches after about 5 rows to make sure i still have the same amount, and put a stitch marker after every 5 rows that have the correct amount of stitches, that way if ive added an extra stitch or didnt add enough i dont have to pull everything apart and start over again.

I made little fairies out of clay with a flower, this one is a lazy susan flower, the little fairy is sitting on some rocks and she is glued to a painted base with moss and other flowers. Her little home is a wine glass from the dollar store and a glass tealight holder also from the dollar store, the tealight holder is attached with a glue dot so you can remove it and put something else up there if you want.
