  1. I just ordered two slab molds from Silvermoon. I already had two of their molds and have never had a problem with soap release. They are much more reasonably priced than one of the competitors. They do offer the wooden mold boxes, you just have to click on the size wanted and then go down to options, (where it says liner only), you can change that to with wooden box.

  2. Just a suggestion, maybe you could add a little sodium lauryl sulfoacetate to the melted soap base. Add about a tsp per pound of base. I mix the SLSa to a little of the melted base and mix that up until the SLSa was dissolved, then add that to the rest of the melted base.

  3. You can include neem seed oil in your doggie soap. Neem oil repels insects and is good for the skin. I use about 20% neem seed oil. You will need to use an acv rinse after shampooing also. The trouble with homemade soap is that the pH is higher than is good for a dog's skin. You might try rebatching the soap and adding citric acid solution to lower the pH. Use a little at a time until you get a pH around 7.

  4. I haven't used the Lush jellies, but you don't have to refrigerate this recipe. It suds well and has a different texture than the recipe made with unflavored gelatin. I have given this bath jelly to several people as a gift and they have all liked it.

  5. I have a recipe for bath melts that uses 2.2% Incroquat CR (or other emulsifying conditioner) 2% Cetyl Alcohol and 2% E-Wax. A member of another forum shared this recipe with me. If you would like the complete recipe just pm me and I will share with it you.

  6. I have ordered a couple of times. They are expensive, but they ship fast and so far I am pleased with the products. If you haven't checked out their videos in the "Learning Library" section, I recomend them. She has a great "no fail" bath bomb recipe.

  7. I am sure it could be tweaked, but I wouldn't want to change it. I used one of these sugar scrub cubes in my bath today and rubbed my legs good with them before shaving. My legs feel as smooth as silk. I love these sugar scrub cubes.:grin2:
