It does say on the site that they are "wholesale" distributors. This is probably the reason they do not offer samples on there. Have you tried emailing and asking? That may be all it takes.

I know this is late in the game but you can almost count on the EOs from Michaels to be cut. That doesn't mean you can't use it. Usually Peppermint EO is best used at 2% or less tho, yes, there are some who use it at 3%...um, can we say,"Tingly"?

You might try Peru balsam

Has anyone used this and how did you like it? Can you recommend an in-your-face creme brulee? Or how about a butter type?

Doubt I would use the glycerin since it's water soluble. But not sure what I would add in its place either.
A tad of castor ... no kidding

My experience with WSP is that they say "nope, no FO", but my nose tells me otherwise. Just my intuition, though - no analysis.
And the "drop on a coffee filter or blotter" thing won't tell you. It'd be nice if it was that simple, but it aint!

Regardless of who the supplier is, you need to research the actual EO before you ever use it in a lip balm. Because of the properties of most EOs they should never be used in lip preps or used in a minute amount.

thanks! I see that WSP has pre-blended EOs but they have few reviews. Has anyone used them? I love to hear about it if you have. Is there any other supplier that sells pre-blended EO's? TIA
WSP is not always upfront about their EO "blends". EO blends, yes, but several contain FOs as well.

I have looked everywhere for a non-embossed 16 oz jelly jar. Do they even make them?

I am so-o-o-o gonna miss this!

You have to remember that the purpose of essential oils are theraputic not to "throw" a scent. I know that doesn't solve your problem but it may help to understand "why". :tiptoe:

We'll have to see who survives the midnight hour ... lol
I will absolutely be thinking of all of you! I may just have to do a midnight yell.
I am so-o-o-o-o sorry I can't come. Family things are really getting to a degree that I can't go much of anywhere...sigh
Regardless, yall have a grand time as I know you will

Jane, do you need more jars? I could bring them and meet you somewhere along the way when I go?
-
I so want to go! But I can't I have a show in NC the weekend before and I just can't make 2 trips that far from home in 1 month. The organizers are great, though, and I'm sure it will be really good.

Jane, I don't know what's going on with them. As Nancy said we were not told they wouldn't be vending until a week before the meet! That, in itself, is not good business. I do know that Mike is no longer with them. They are suppose to be at the Prattville ALA meeting in June so I am curious to see what happens there.
Hope to see you in TN again! (May 14, 2011, is the date of our next meet!)

..."soy" wax softer than another?

Jasmine wax is a good altenative to the EO. You won't find a sub for ylang ylang. And I might share a blend with you for rose...if you are good.
