I buy mine a case at a time from BCN. It helps to only pay the shiping once and it takes me forever to go thru that many beads. The only down side is the box is very heavy, so I put it in a plastic storage tub to make it easier to move around.

Not much help here since I have only used the ones from BCN, but my customers really like them.

I am adding inscense sticks this year. Trying to find ways to use the fragrances that are just sitting around in bottles.

You can add the EO's just like you would regular fragrances. You just need to test everything carefully.

I turn it into a marketing tool. I remind my customers that I can do custom color to match whatever they need.

I have had other brands of soy turn brown over time. I just made sure I tested the batch of candles that I made to make sure it didn't change the way they burned.

If your in a chilly place the soy can freeze. Just take a butter knife to it and it will break apart. I have had some freeze in the garage before and used it with no problems.

I just ordered from there last month and got my jars a day earlier then the estimated shipping time. They are very nice to work with.

Most scents I can burn within 24 hours, but things that have Vanilla in them need 3-4 days to have a really good scent throw.
Good luck,

I do offer my customers a $1 discount off their next candle if they return an empty jar with my label. I then reuse those jar for testing and not for reselling. I always reset when I receive a new batch of wax or if I am doing a custom color for a customer. It a way for customers to feel like they are being helpful in growing my business.

Depending on how complex your website, $500 sounds like a lot of money. I am very lucky that my husband was able to do my website, so I only have to pay hosting fees. No matter what you decide I wish you the best of luck.

I would second checkingout uline. They have a ton of different boxes. You can go to their site and request a catalog which is much easier then searching online. I like how they send me a new catalog with each order, so I have the most up to date information.

We use Printmaster software to make our labels.

How long after you order was the stuff shipped to. In most states you can't charge a card until you ship it.

Wholesalesuppliesplus used to carry them. You might give them a try.

I would bring up insurance issue with this client, because if someone's house burns down because of a faulty candle I am sure she wouldn't want to be responsible for it. If she buys wholesale from you, she may have bought wholesale from others and you want to make sure it's not your candle that starts the fire.

Would you do this??

I have to agree with Andy123. I would make sure that I could afford to lose the $10,000 in rent to plan for worst case and hope for the best. Can you make products on site or would you have to do it somewhere else after hours? If you have to keep mall hours that could make for many many late nights.
I wish you the best of luck on whatever you decide to do. Please keep us posted.
