  1. Blackberry Fizz -- excellent in Cp soap and B&B

Vanilla Lime -- excellent in B&B and although it discolors is CP it is

fantastic. IMO the vanilla doesn't overpower the lime.

Jam Berri Scones - this does discolor in CP soap. I smell berry with a hint of bakery in CP soap.

Cafe Vanilla Latte - Excellent in tarts

Caramel, the perfect Autumn - strong caramel scent in tarts

  2. Start a soaping notebook and keep track of recipes, ingred, fo, color, etc.

You may think you will remember everything you did for a certain batch but believe me once you start cranking the soap out, the batches seem to run together and you soon forget. I have a pen handy and write notes as I am soaping on my paper I use to cover my counter space, then transfer those notes into my notebook.

I also write on the label of my fo bottle if that certain oil caused acceleration etc - that way I have a record if I had forgotten to take notes or the notes get lost.

    Happy soapin

  3. A few years back I tried this - The only issue I had was it took a little longer for the soap to cure. I also tried to make "refill" soaps of the same size jar size - that did not work out so well. The soap stuck and I couldn't get it out of the jar ( I did not line or oil the refill jar before, that may make a difference, I do not know). Next time you make a batch of soap just pour one jar and see if that works for you.
