Hi all! My name is Nicole and I'm brand new to this candle making thing
I've been doing crafts since I was a kid (thanks to a very crafty and patient Aunt) and have finally jumped into candles.
My best friend and I decided to stop tossing money down the drain buying tarts at $1 - $1.50 a piece from the store. Finally, right?!
I've recently made my first batch of experimental tarts using tart wax I found at the craft store. It was fairly easy so now we're shopping for bulk wax. We're looking at the candle science site (I'm assuming that that's the CS abbreviation I keep seeing?) and are a bit confused between a couple of the waxes and which would be best...if either.
Looking at the EcoSoya pillar blend and the Golden Brands 416. I do plan on making tarts but also trying my hand at grubby votives. I'd love to not have to buy different wax for each type but if I do, I do. Does anyone have a preference between these 2 waxes? Or do both of them stink?
