  1. In my "town" we have a festival every year and this year I have thought about doing the craft part BUT when I inquired and the fee is $225.00, yeah two hundred twenty five dollars:shocked2: . I know I will have great sales cause people come in from the next city over for this every year. Its big, has a carnival, a parade, and all. Oh yeah power included. What is the max to pay on a show of this size? It's a four day affair.

  2. Like I've said, I'm just starting out- most of my $ went into supplies and didn't have much left over. I wanted a good tablecloth; I just didn't have the funds. I'd like some good shelves and will look into it.

    Thanks for the constructive criticism.

Wal mart has the $1 fabric all the time. Just by some liquid stitch and go along the cut part. Very easy and very cheap.:D

  3. this is?

"Light this candle to envelop the room with scent and begin to set the mood. Once the wax has melted, use it as a warm oil for an all over massage. Or, use the wax cold as a scented massage cream. The Body Massage Candle is a relaxing addition to any evening. Available in Almond, Chocolate Dream and Cucumber Melon scents. (6 oz)"

  4. That is interesting. I went to a show this past weekend and it sounds like the same vendor. the prices caught my eye too. The vendor I saw has a website so I checked it out. Well on the website it says you can dip your fingers in the melted soy wax candle. Dumb idea. Aside from being dangerous I'm sure not all of their fragrances are skin safe.

Might be a dumb idea but i tell my friends and family that too. Because its good to know if it spills on you its not gonna burn.

Like candlebuddy said I too price my candles depending on whom I am selling to. Think about it people that buy yank and salt and so on candles they are used to paying for good smelling candles so if yours are just as good or better then you should be proud to sell yours at just a lower price then the other companies for quality. Some people have the mind set if its too inexpensive, it cant be good.

  5. Correct, you can say your candle is made with natural wax, but you can't say your candle is natural because of the FO and dyes.

Exactly what I was about to say. :tongue2:

But you are right with the labels and flyers identifying what exactly is in your candles. I explain to the ones whom want an explanation and the rest just want a candle that is natural not paraffin.

  6. I just wanted to update. Ok so I went ahead and ordered and got my order very quick, I am a five day ship from them and I ordered on a tues:confused: . got order on monday. All smelled awesome of course oob. Just get done testing them (used 10 lbs of wax in two days:o . Last night was my second burn on one candle and OH MY GOSH my whole house (2000 sq ft) smelled like I was really baking a pumpkin pie. My 3 year old even came out of her room and asked me where the pie was:D . The vanilla hazelnut is great too. this is after a 48 hr cure also. Strawberries n cream-I burned a votive and great throw too.

  7. This might be a dumb question if it is I apologize before hand. I was wondering the post about - F.O.'s throw in soy, Is it referring to 100% soy or all different types? I am just wondering because I had posted before and stated that some fos on the list dont throw which is expected but some that were'nt on the list do and then I tried to make a para/soy blend and one not on the list threw awesome and want to try it in plain soy which is what I use.
