  1. I've spent hours searching for such molds. I found the guest bar molds or the mini molds but they weren't perfect. They didn't fill the tin the way I wanted them to. So I bit the bullet and had custom molds made. Definitely not cheap but sure saves a lot of time and headaches.

  2. If that is the way the store wants to do it then there is nothing wrong with doing it that way. The bar code is for their inventory keeping purposes. In my stores, my clients just pull up their inventory on the computer and can tell me which scents have sold. It saves them time rather than having to go over and physically count the product to tell me what they need.

If this is your only account, then you don't have to worry about it. But if you plan on getting other accounts with more precise inventory programs, they will want you to have a code for each scent, etc.

I'm not sure how your client will be able to tell you which scents they are out of without actually counting them. But if that is the way they do it, then you don't have to worry about it.

  3. hmmmm.... let me tell what just happened to me. I started using them as my host last year. The customer service was non-existent. I switched hosts but my domain was registered with them for a year. This past month, I received a notice from them that my domain was about to expire. I decided to renew for another year. THEY CHARGED ME FOR TWO YEARS! When I called them to request that they credit me for a year, they told me that it was too late. They had registered me for two years and it couldn't be changed. I spend literally hours trying to talk to someone but could never get through. They left me on hold forever. I am now in the long process of reporting this to my cc company, etc. BEWARE!

  4. Frank...instead of going round for round with Adam....lol, Can you calmly and politely explain, in detail what is happening with HcM? I mean none of us knows if when you change to Mazbo do we have the option of staying at HcM with the new owner or will we be switched to Mazbo? Will Mazbo be the same price? Easier to use? More choices? Will our sites transfer or will we have to rebuild? If our sites will transfer, who will be doing this? You? Us?

Let me tell you, I'm not computer savvy. All this talk about databases and SQL whatever's is greek to me.

Yes, Frank. That would be very helpful. I still haven't received a response to my e-mail inquiry so please take this opportunity to explain these details to us.

  5. Do any of you HCM users know what the status of the HCM updates is? I tried to e-mail the staff but haven't received any response. I'm not sure they received my e-mail. I didn't want to bother Sharon since I just learned of her illness. Any updates you can provide me regarding the status of HCM in general would be much appreciated. Thank you.

  6. You may already be aware of this but Royal Aromatics is now Trilogy Fragrances, Inc., with the same personnel, etc. They still carry many of the RA fragrances. You can contact the General Manager, Jennifer Genovese at 732-922-2520 ext. 133 or e-mail her at jgenovese@trilogyfragrances.com. I'm sure she would be happy to help you. I love their fragrances and their natural oils and so do my clients. HTH. :smiley2:

  7. I use them all the time. The edges come out fairly clean, but not as clean as premium business card stock. I personally don't have issues with the edges.

They pass through multiple times beautifully in my printer as long as it is the whole sheet. You have to run the whole sheet. When I first tried them, I printed and removed just a few and then tried to run the remaining sheet through another time. It jammed up. Of course each printer may be different.

All said, they work for me. Hope this helps.

  8. Would any of you mathmeticians out there be willing to check my calculation? My EO is safe for skin use up to 1.75%. I am adding this to 12 oz. of melted oils and butters. Based on the formulas found in this forum, I calculate that no more than 6.2 ml or 1.26 teaspoons should be used in my formula. Sure hope I'm right or I have to go back to kindergarten. Thanks a bunch.

  9. With all that I read about Emu oil, I think I have decided to add it to my foot care product because of its transdermal properties. However, I recently learned that Avocado Oil has the highest penetration rate of any of the similar vegetable oils. Has anyone had a chance to compare the two? If so, how does the consistency compare and which do you feel has the better penetration rate?

I like the idea of using a veggie oil because some of my clients wouldn't purchase anything with animal fat. However, I really do want to use the most effective oil in my products. Any info is much appreciated. Thanks.

  10. Thanks for the info BLT212. I don't know what their shipping is but I just placed an order with a note at the bottom of the form that tells them not to place the order until they give me a shipping estimate. Apparently, they will notify me by e-mail before they process the payment. Given the other suppliers' prices, I decided to chance it.

  11. Nurses are some of my best customers...they make good money and they will spend it. They also don't have a lot of time to shop. I get orders all the time....and with gas prices the way they are ... I'm just sayin' don't be too hasty to pooh pooh the events. I would consider them a sure thing...but that is here and you are there...

Thank you for the insight. I hope I didn't sound like I was discounting nurses since they are also good customers of mine. I guess I am just a little nervous laying down that much money. But it may be just the venue I am looking for. Thanks again.

  12. They are the best! I had purchased a laser printer and ordered a bunch of high-gloss labels. The labels didn't work well for my particular kind of printer (it uses hard wax ink instead of toner). They were super in allowing me to return the gloss labels and reorder ones that would work. And they actually tried to help me with my printer before I decided to send the labels back. It's sooooooo nice to come across great customer service in a world that is sorely lacking ANY customer service. Onlinelabels.com has won my business permanently. And their prices are great too!
