Haven't been on here in a while. I've been busy with my wonderful little granddaughter, who is now 3 years old.

Anyway, I used to get my RRD 47 wicking by the spool at Candlewic, but the shipping is now too much. Could anyone tell me if you know of a supplier for RRD wicking on spools/rolls? I have googled, but have not found it on the spool. Any help would be appreciated.

....if you would share what kind of paint you use? I've seen similar ones, but they didn't look quite so good!

burnish the tape down to the mold good with something. I use a popsickle stick. I use two pieces of tape, one on top of the other, and it never leaks.

Brown, purple (mixed with brown for eggplant), green (sage), and red.

I have tried Tony's and Wellington. I like Tony's a lot.

I never was able to wick the 2" successfully....

I will pm her. I did a search on "twisted tapers" but didn't find anything in the archives...

Who was doing the wonderful twisted tapers a while back? Was it Fresh? I need to buy some. I only make pillars and containers and don't want to learn tapers! If you know, would you please respond, or email or pm me? Thanks!
