If the big dummy can't provide DC or tracking number, ask him to produce a receipt from the USPS postal worker at the counter (assuming he actually did mail it). Also have the sender ask the USPS to put a trace on the package, although this usually can't be done for 30 days (I think).

Just don't wait too long like I did, and get screwed out of any help from eBay or PP.

What % of FO are you using for such a great hot throw? I have some El Millenium and am beating my head against the wall with the hot throw and wicking. Can you give any suggestions on those two items?

Has anyone tried this? I have only read instructions in a book for doing it on parrafin, so I am very unsure as to what is safe to use on soy and what will stay on soy.

Don't know what kind of paint to use, and what to use to "seal" the painted stencil--ie., keep from rubbing off.

Any ideas?

I'm in FL and get fabulous shipping rates on palm (well, everything I order!) from CandleScience. They crank orders out fast, and I've even gotten several unexpected and much needed tutorials from their customer service folks. If they carried everything I need, I wouldn't bother to shop around anywhere for anything else.

I have only done one craft show so far and I did about the same as you, except the booth was free!!! Let's just say I was NOT in prime real estate-- all the people that knew I would be there only found my booth if they ran into my husband and he told them! how sad is that.....

I think you are more creative with naming a biz than you think-- how cool sounding is Show Offs by Shannon? I think it fits perfectly with the show clothing for horses and the aliteration and incorporating your name!

Would in having "Shannon" in the name of the new business bring biz over from your "Show Offs..." success? Just some thoughts...

Oh Kay, I'm glad you are online!

My plug is purple (not that matters!) and is significantly taller than the low profile Glass TL holder (looks just like yours-- Garden Ridge, perhaps?) This is where hubby was suggesting to cut the plug itself so that it fits in the glass TL holder with less sticking out. (geez, am I making any sense?)

I am also unsure about what/how to cut the plug with.

Does using a concave mold have any effect on this?

So is it safe to say that the Glass Glow does not eat dye chips like soy does? Have you found that smaller amounts of dye chips are working well in GG?

I place the plug in bottom of my metal mold, place a Glass tea light holder on top of that. When the candle comes out just take out the plug & your glass tea light is embedded into your candle ready for a tea light to be inserted.

I finally received my tealight insert plug and followed your directions above. After it was just about impossible to get the insert plug out of the mold I discovered another problem-- the tealight glass was too low inside the pillar. GRRRRR! But it sure was beautiful, which is what broke my heart.

Hubby says, "I think you need to cut some of that silicone off the plug to make it level with the TL glass." I think the TL glass I used is about as pretty low profile as it comes.

Would it make a difference if the mold is flat or concave? I think the problem just lies in the fact that too much of the plug sticks out of the glass TL. What to do?

I just wasn't sure if it needed a warning label that is closer to parrafin than to soy, since I have never made parrafin candles.

I have not tried Glass Glow yet, but to cool the pillars I have made out of CS's Starburst wax very slowly, I have been placing an igloo cooler (6- pack size) over the mold ASAP after pouring. This has been creating some beeyooteeful (if I do say so myself) Forever/Everlasting palm pillars for me. Can't help you with the air pockets though as I am still in the testing phase with GG and regular palm pillars.

Please excuse the bump, but I just know one of you Candle Gurus can help.

I purchased a good name brand cooling rack (I think it was called a cooling "grid") from Bed Bath & Beyond. It has more than enough clearance for me to put a folded up towel and enough room for the screw on the wax tealight insert plug (that sticks out forever and a day).

Mine came today so I am SOOOO ready to go making forever/everlasting palm pillars with it!

Anyone who has experience with using it, please post. I don't know if it requires mold sealer around the plug to keep it from leaking. I don't have ANY instructions from the manufacturer-- it just shows up in a ziploc bag with the part name on it. Am I a mind reader? (working on it, but still not there yet....I do have children.....)
