I figured out the problem. I was testing in water that was not warm enough. Because of the hard oils the water had to be at a certain temp. to start the fizzing action. In my bomb with light oils the temp doesn't matter.

I was wondering if anyone could offer some insight. I just thought I perfected my bath bomb. I wanted a more moisturizing bomb so I substituted hard oils for my light oil and my bombs looked perfect except they really do not fizz they just kinda melt. I am thinking it is the density of the oil. Does anyone else have this problem?

Any one have a soap recipe using ez-soy. Or does anyone know what oils that it can be sub. for. I know the obvious may be soybean but what about palm kernal or anything else?

Any one have a great CP Soap recipe they would like to share? One that is moisturizing but a hard bar.

Fellow soapers I am calling on you for help. AS you know many cities from LA & surrounding areas have lost everything they own and have been transported to other cities. The majority of these individuals are here in Houston. My husband and I minister on to individuals on low-income properties. And there are so many individuals that have been displaced trying to move on to these properties. At one location we have food daily and clothing and other items. We do not have many toiletries.

I have taken on the task of making many batches of soap for the evacuees. If there are any of you out there willing to help it would be greatly appreciated. The soaps do not need to be with expensive oils but just your regular oils from your grocery store. Any other items you would like to send would also appreciated such as shampoo, deoderant, toothpaste, ect.

I make paraffin and I also have a line of soy candle.

I have my strictly paraffin users and strictly soy users. I find that most people do not know what soy is and others are just learning. I do have customers who have asked about what is soy and the difference. Some customers buy both depending what I have in stock fore the scent they like.

But over all I sell more parffin than anything. But I continue to carry the soy as more people or becomming familar with it and plus my soy customers purchase around $100-150 at a time per customer. There is alot of soy out there but not all of them give a great scent throw.
