    Preferred wick? - I have had the best luck with LX wicks

    Pouring temp you recommend? - 120

    What do you do to prevent frosting? - not a problem with this wax

    What do you do to prevent rough tops - not a problem with this wax

    Do you do anything to prevent wet spots? - No

  2. Newbie here -- I am trying my best to make nice candles and found that that CBadvanced is beautiful wax and best of all I can pick it up locally. That being the case, I want to stick with it but find I am spending a small fortune on fragrances that don't seem to work great. I have found a couple from Mill Creek and Peaks that are okay. Any of you use this wax and have found some reliable fo's for it? Any suggestions appreciated.

  3. Another newbie question. I was using stickums to anchor my wicks and found that hot glue seems to work better. Is the purpose of sticking down the wick just to hold it centered while the wax cools or does the wax pool as it gets close to the bottom cause movement of the wick? If the hot glue melted would the wick slide?:confused:
