I would go with the oven preheat oven to 200 put the containers on a cookie sheet lined with paper towels and as soon as they melt enough to pour them out of the jar put back in pour pot reheat to your temp ADD SCENT and repour at whatever temp you use ask Stella now you have tempered your wax:laugh2: which really does make the best burning candle NO joke. please do not ask how I learned all of this I plead the 5th

and I have had candles tunnel that burned great in testing and after thay aged for a while light the same kind same fo same batch and they tunnel thats when you pray that scent did not sell:o

I have to tried to order them for weeks through my local grocer no luck found a hardware store to order them then they called me back and said the supplier is out of them said maybe in a few weeks they may have them again, lots f people canning this year (I did 21 quarts of apples today:D )

I thought I would use a round lable on top ,found an eco 12 works well in my wax I will have to check out the Huntsville store I am about 70 miles tho and about 70 from the one I go to but usually I stop on the way from Nashville since hubby goes to the Dr there ,hope they still have some when I go the 30th:)

not that large sounds like you have an air pocket in there and then the air pushes the wax to the top

I found 10 oz candle jars at a pottery store today they are abou 21/2 inche cubes with lids .59 each I can't wait to play:p I use eco wicks with 125 ky I think a size 10 wick might be a starting point:rolleyes2 any other thoughts on this, I use an 8 in a jj and a 14 in a pint jar sure hope I can wick them I bought 115 of them.

I have got to have one I have a roaster but it is oooollllddd and the thermostat just does not work right though it does beat the db I was using
