  1. Looks good! I can't wait to try it! Will you possibly be around tomorrow to answer any questions? I will be doing this tomorrow afternoon. I have to go get my house cleaned up now, I have lots of kids and parents coming here in a couple hours for prom pictures!

    (lucky me! :undecided..lol )

Thanks for doing this class! ;)

  2. This has been happening to me a lot as well and its frustrating me! I have started using jojoba oil mixed with my FO to help anchor the scent and some are still dissapearing! I like my soap nice a strong smelling, I'm not sure what else to do. I stopped using much OO in my recipes cause it was hard to cover that scent and my fragrance was dissapearing.:angry2: I have used several different recipes so I know its not that..

  3. Ok yours turned out great. I have 2 stamps from them and have rendered 2 batches unsellable cause the stamp messed it up when I was lifting it back off the soap. I just couldn't get the timing right:angry2:Beautiful soaps, and I like NON.

I've had the same problem with mine. I have some swirlies in my logo and its hard to get it just right! I love it but its frustrating!

Beautiful soaps Z!! Your stamp looks great!! Love it.. I'm the same, on the fence about beveling, I like the look of both and beveling IS so time consuming..Lately I've been leaning more towards non beveled. ;)

  4. Oh, I'm so glad I'm not the only one..lol I have about the same about of past left...lol I turned it on low for a bit this morning, thought maybe it didn't get hot enough to dissolve it all. As soon as it cools back down I will take out the rest of the past to dissolve it. Its a nice clear amber color though!

    Thanks again Z!!!!

  5. Keep it cooking, liquid soap takes at least 3.5 hours, so the soap is not ready yet. Walk about from the soap:pLet's leave it be for half and hour.

Haha, OK, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't gonna burn it.. I am stepping away from the soap pot! For just a bit though..lol:p ....

  6. The vaseline stage is a few hours away, but keep stirring every 20 minutes. As long as it does not bubble and run over, you should be ok to leave it for awhile. I personally like to leave it for longer and get other things done in the process.

Thanks Z, should I cover it or leave it uncovered?
