I am using MC Soy lotion base and I was wondering how everyone else mixes their base and fo. I made my first bottle by putting in the fo and then the lotion and shook like crazy. This base is so thick that I am afraid I will not get it mixed well. If there are any tips or tricks to this, please let me know.

I have not used any candle dye before and wanted to try some. I don't know which type to use . Liquid or chips?? I will be using either ezsoy or 444, undecided yet with the wax :undecided . Please point me in the right direction. Also, which is the best supplier for this? Thanks for your help.

I am using CD12 or 14. I have FM and a great flame, no soot and a clean jar.

It might help to know what fragrances you are having trouble with and where you get them from. One suppliers apple pie might not throw as well as someone else's. If you are using ezsoy, htne I am assuming you area using BC fragrances, but I want to make sure before I make any suggestions.
HTH,
Kim
Yes I am using BC fo's. Everyone talks about knock your socks off scents and I have yet to "smell" it. I have made some good candles but nothing out standing. DH keeps say their to weak. I was just wanting to make a change, if one is needed, before I get to far into testing. BTW, I am testing in 8oz jj.

Thank you for all your input. I think I am going to order their kit to try.

I want to start a Bath & Body line and was wondering if anyone was using MC's soy line? If not, what would be good products to start with?

I am just starting in the candle making so I am not that far into testing. I currently use ezsoy but am thinking of switching to the 444 because of the higher fo load. What are some opinions?? Does the ability to add more fo really create a stronger candle? I have heard many candle makers say less is more in some cases and using more than 1oz pp is a waste of fo. Please shed some light for me!! Thank you.

I have been making diffusers for a couple of months now and have only a few oils that I like. Was wondering what is the top 10 fav's for people. I use the ICS base and so far have had good luck with it.
1. Harvest (BCN)
2. Mulled Cider (BCN)
3. Orange Cranberry Spice (ICS)

Has anyone noticed a difference in the 2.75mm reeds vs. the 3mm reeds? Are the 3mm really that much better? :undecided Does anyone know white size the reeds are that come in the kits from allwhitecandles.com?
Thanks!
