  1. I just read the CandleMakers page, telling about grade A and grade B.. I understand the difference, but now wondering on other suppliers like Millcreek, Just Scents (I buy from them) are grade A or B? Candlemakers site is a lot more for a LB than both of them, but their grade B is closer to MC & JS's price.

So, how do we tell the difference? I'm going up to Candlemakers this wednesday to check them out. I read Geek's post and about fell over when I saw they were in Hamilton..LOL That's really close to me..

  2. I got a case of the honey pot jars, and they are uneven on the bottoms, they have dents in the glass. I am really disappointed it them. I think this will be the last time I order from them, too.

You would think that they would send out *perfect* jars if someone is sampling them. lol

  3. I gotta laugh out of the camera story. LOL I have an 8MP and I can resize any of my pics on my camera. I'm sure you could too, if you actually had that camera.

I also have to agree with the one that mentioned your soy lotion on the table. That HAS to be your picture, because I can't see anyone with a legit busniess using that picture. That's just gross!

  4. Ok, I have been testing.. CD 20's weren't big enough for the 15oz honey pot jars.. So, someone told me to get the CD 22's.. I did and I am no expert on wicks, but the CD 22's look a lot small than the CD 20's.. I did a test burn on the 15oz honey pot jar, (Cinnamon) and burning it right now.. It's no where near reaching full melt pool and it has been burning for almost 3 hours..

I bought these wicks off of ebay.. Is it possible they sent me the wrong size CD.. These look small compared to the CD 20's I got from Moonglow..

  5. Can something be a 100% natural with FO or EO in it? My friend is wanting me to make her some whipped shea butter and said she wants it a 100% natural, but she wants it to have fragrance to it? If I add FO or EO, won't that make it not natural?

  6. I'm definitely not going to sell it.. It's only for my dogs and my moms dogs.. I'm going to call the vet in the morning and read off the ingredients to him and see what he thinks. lol I'm scared I might irritate the ones that have sensitive skin.

  7. LOL I also think it's BS only to wash your dog once a month.. I have been looking through ingredients of all kinds of different dog shampoos and about their PH levels, and millcreeks base, seems to be a lot less mild than the regular dog shampoo.. I think I am going to try it.. My dogs do have sensitive skin and it's hard to find a dog shampoo that helps them.. The oatmeal shampoo is a joke!

I don't think I am going to scent it.. I'm going to add shea butter and aloe vera and see how that does..lol Don't know if it will work, but it's worth a try. :grin2:

  8. This is probably a weird question, but I have 9 dogs and was wondering if anyone sold doggie shampoo base, like Millcreek regular shampoo base? It gets pretty expensive bathing 9 dogs once a week..lol

Another question, can I use Millcreeks shampoo base on a dog? Or would it be to strong for a dog?
