  1. Well I would first try a remelt with additional wax and see what happens.

Now what do you really think about the wicks? I mean, they aren't burnt right? Why did you think you couldn't use them? Curious.

What I mean is the wicks that are in the jars that I will be remelting...Do I need to throw those ones away or are they okay...I know the wicks in general are fine just those I have already used...

  2. I don't think I would want to burn them at shows if they aren't burning correctly....and the wick wouldn't be clogged up if the wax has never burned. ....How do you know this is the only one not burning correctly? If I had one candle out of a batch that was not burning correctly, I would have to assume none of them would burn correctly. I do believe I am confused so I am not sure why I am even posting to this...

When I said the others are fine I meant the other scents just not this scent so I am guessing it is because I over dyed this scent.

  3. How do you fix over dying...I think that has happened to one of my candles...I was at a show yesterday and burned my Pumpkin Spice...Now remember that is the one that messed up the color and tried to fix it...So when I was burning it at the show the flame was really small...It is fine on the others just this one so I believe there is to much dye in it...How do I fix this without throwing everything away...I thought I could just melt down my jars and add more wax and FO and repour so the dye has been thinned down but what about the wicks do I have to replace them or are they okay because they haven't been burned yet?

  4. Well you could try NG and I'll swap you one from BCN lol. We can compare that way, maybe. BCN is quite anise. It just needs a little sweet dough or a little waffle flavor and it could become a pizelle FO.

Well I am not sure what BCN is but I will try NG's and see how that goes...

    Thanks for all the replies...

  5. Here's a tip for your foam:

Mix gel w/paraffin...let it cool and get a crusty like layer on top...then whip it and then add it on top of your beer candle with like a spoon. You'll get that "foamy" look.

The wax I am using is a gel/paraffin mix...I was told to just melt it and pour and to whip it for like ice cream but I just don't like the way it looks just melted and poured so I will try whipping it next time...Thanks...

  6. Dove

    those look fantastic!!:yay:

how'd you get the beer section to look so realistic? It looks just like a real beer with little bubbles in it!!!

Well I read that you need to pour slow and hot to reduce bubbles but in the beer I wanted bubbles so I poured fast and cool...And that I think really make it look real...I wish I could have gotten the foam to look more real but I couldn't...

  7. I will be putting the foam on tomorrow so after they are done I will post a pic...It seemed to me that getting the color right is a bit of a problem when I tested it in a glass bowl it looked fine but after poured into the mugs they were too orangish so you can't really trust the small amount test...
