  1. I actually have a bottle of Hawaiian Tropics tanning oil and compared it to Daystar's "Lush Island Retreat" side by side and it was a dead on dupe only stronger! My friend and I were amazed at how dead on amazing that FO from Daystar was to the real stuff!

I remember several threads searching for a scent dupe of that stuff and now we have it. It is AMAZING!

Just in time for summer too! smile.gif

  2. I screwed around with it once. Made it with natural cocoa butter. Used bacon grease in place of lard. That bar of soap is so hard when you bang two bars together they make a clinking noise. lol No bacon smell at all. Sorry no recipe because it was so long ago, and it was just one of those "Screw around with recipes to see what happens" lol

  3. At this point I am shipping everything via fedex or ups. I want a tracking number for my customer. The USPS site sucks if you need that kind of info. At least this way my customer knows that the package was shipped, when it was shipped and where it currently is. Also-if anything happens to it we won't just get a "Sorry too bad so sad we lost/damaged your package" from the post office. Can you tell Ihave had issues with them? Even if the packages are insured it's like pulling teeth to get the $$ from them.

  4. OH WOW! never thought about using the floral foam to hold my lip tubes in place. i am oh so very careful while pouring my lip tubes ... quite steady-handed, but the foam will work great! gotta get some now!

    stacy

I have a bad habit of knocking them over once filled. This has solved that problem for me. Pushing the tubes in for the first time is really easy to do. Once the holes are in, cover with saran wrap and then put the tubes in the foam and fill. Really easy clean up-pull the saran wrap up and toss it away. I think a block of foam cost $1.88.
