  1. I have been oredering from NG for a few years and have found several (not all) of there oils to work great in my wax. I have used straight 4627 and a parasoy I blend myself. A few that are really good sellers are;

    Hillbilly Homebrew

    Passionate Kisses

    Sexy as Sin

    Best Friends

    Ecalyptus

    I have recenetly been testing a few others and found the same results; some great, some not so great. Here's what I have found recently;

    Cabernet Sauvignon - Parasoy blend - Great throw hot & cold, travels well through multiple rooms and true to the name.

    Austrailian Bamboo Grass - Parasoy blend - Great throw hot & cold, travels well through multiple rooms but too much floral, not enough green.

    Fresh Cut Bamboo - Parasoy blend - Great throw hot & cold, travels well through multiple rooms but too much floral. Very similar to Austrailian Bamboo Grass when burning.

    Rain Barrell - Parasoy blend - Very light hot throw, very good cold throw. I'll pass on this one. Pity because this is really a noce scent. Clean with a nice warm tone.

    Easter Bunny Burps - Parasoy blend - Very light hot throw, very good cold throw. Passing on this one.

    BTW, I am using HTP wicks on all of the above except for the straight 4627, with that I use 51-32-18 z

  2. I have used Royal Aromatics in the past but haven't since they changed their name to Trilogy and dropped the on-line ordering. I prefer to order on line and only call a rep if I am trying to get a dupe or custom blend. I work full time, have a retail store and web site. Orders and planning have to be done at night.

    RA had good sales reps and good products. Just like with all companies though, there are oils that worked in my formulations and those that didn't. I typically order lbs to test with.

    I may break down and give them a call to see if they have plans to bring the on-line access back.

  3. I've tried CC and WSP and am testing two from BCN now but none seem to really throw verry well. I'm using J223 in a 3" diameter container. Tested with HTP 105s and 51-32-18z. I've also tested with with my own paraffin blend for votives with no luck ther either.

    Does anyone have a great thrower tested in paraffin to suggest? My goal is to have a good peppermint by itself and be able to use it for blending.

    Thanks,

    Cindy

  4. I would go ahead with the investment for a roll of shrink wrap. I use an 18" I-Bar system with the 18" centerfold wrap an make my own tubes for tarts and votives. It's more econimical and versatile if you need to wrap larger items like gift baskets & votive sets. Paper Mart and Nasville Wraps both have pretty good prices.

    Hope this helps and good luck with your shows!
