thanks any ways if they don't work i'll find other uses for them. (maybe tie lots of pieces to hold my wick pins stright.)

thanks for all the info. i ordered some 30ply, 36 ply, and #1/0 sq today. (won't get till late next week):embarasse then i will test all 3 out and see what i come up with.

it burned 3 hours the first time and at 2 1/2 the second

I made a 3" dia X 4 pillar from candle wic cbl-141 wax. 1 oz of peaks ocean scent per 1 1/2 lb and a 24 ply flat braid. Its burning a 2" hole down the center. My question is should I wick up to a 27 ply wick or should I jump to a 30 ply? All replies would be greatly appricated

mine wouldn't even think about coming out until they cool for a day. even then some times i have to put them in the in the freezer for a couple minutes

must be really tiny. is there a possibility that it dosn't show up till after so many posts like some kink of safty feature

in my venture yesterday I descovered that used frabric softner sheets work great for polishing up candles when they come out of the molds

Hi everyone! I made my first balloon candle and it turned out better than i expected. Now my problem is that the bottom of it is so thin that i can't level it out. I used 5055 wax, micro 180, and dipped it between 160 - 165. How do I get the bottom the same thickness as the sides? Any suggestions would be greatly appreiated. Jeff

I don't have a spout on mine either. I just put a little bit of water in mine and set the pouring pot in it.
