You are not familiar, but are going to sell it?

I sent out an email to Mortons:

"They should not be used for bath salts.They contain

additives for water softening. Also, they do not dissolve quickly in water and you may slip on them."

You should really find that out before you sell them though, and if it were to hurt someone I wouldn't be so casual about it maybe being okay. But it's your business.

Do you sell them, or have a website?

They have some really pretty tiny super fine glitters at craft shops. Irridescent fairy glitter stuff. But most is glass. You have to read, i am always careful to read now since we have kids. Would hate to give them glass. :undecided

Also, if you are selling you would need to use FDA approved colorants for cosmetic or bath use. Food coloring isn't supposed to be used for sale.

I like the clear ones though! My niece will love this project, she loves all those glitter products. Thanks for posting the directions, she's going to have a blast!

Yes, which is not good! Email some of suppliers of solar salt. They will be helpful and am sure they will not recommend it. Especially if you are selling them.

I was told the vitamin E capsules are not the same as the vitamin E sold for bath products & cosmetics and that it would go rancid fairly quick. Has anyone else run into similar information?

You would need to use cosmetic grade glitter, in answer to someone's question. Some craft glitters are made from glass.

Solar salts are not safe for bath and body though. Are they not the salts that are for water softeners? If so, that is a big no - no.
