Should clarify, with the RDD 29's the melt pool was 1 inch deep.

Hi all. I'm wicking a 3.75 diameter tureen. I'm using GW464 with 2 tsp/lb of coconut oil. So far I've tested a pair of RDD 29's and a pair of ECO 0.2's. In both tests I've had the wicks about an inch apart. The 29's were too hot, giving me a melt pool of an inch or greater. The 0.2's were too cool, leaving about 3/8 inch unmelted around the edge. What would you folks try next?

Another vote for Vanilla Voodoo. It clobbered Peak's French Vanilla in my testing and I am a big Peak's fan.

How is BG doing with keeping their oils in stock lately? I used several of their scents a few years back but when the previous owner got sick I had to start buying elsewhere.

I'm trying to find a nice stong pineapple. I tried Candle Cocoon's Maui Mt. Pineapple and it wasn't quite strong enough and was more like a lifesaver pineapple than the real deal. Anyone had any luck with another Pineapple?

I got some Vanilla Voodoo in a few days ago based on this thread and it is quite nice. Peak's French Vanilla is what I currently use. It's a toss up right now. I've also tested Fallen Leaves and Sultry Angel and they are both really nice too. Still playing with cure time on these. Trappeur did you let yours cure before you tested it? I asked Lychelle and she said her scents don't need to cure except for the EO scents which need a day. One thing I am finding about them so far is that they tend to rise. You can be seated and not smell them so much but when you stand up its on like Donkey Kong.

Thanks all. Candle Man, I've been using the vinyl labels successfully up until the most recent batch I received 2 weeks ago. When I started to print on this new batch they just looked awful with major bleeding and visible vertical lines. For a sanity check I printed on a page of the previous batch and it printed perfectly. I don't know how long these threads are maintained but I would love to know how the next batch that you receive does. I've had awesome results until now and I'm really dissapointed that I have to switch. I use an HP 3210 with HP ink. I sent OL prints from the old and new batch but they said they could not find anything wrong with the labels. They will trade me for laser though if that's the way I end up going.

Anyone using waterproof labels for a laser printer? We have been using Online Labels' waterproof inkjet but now are having problems with the print quality and are thinking of switching to laser. Any suggestions?
