Alabaster Candle Supply replaced by Community Candle Supply http://communitycandlesupply.com/

Has anyone notice NG's Kudzu being lighter than Alabaster's?
When Alabaster started being OOS I ordered NG's. I've been testing it but it seems to have a lighter HT to me. I've tried it @ 6%, 8% & 10%. I even tried testing it in straight paraffin.
I know Community Candle Supplies now has it. Has anyone tried it since they got back in stock? I just wonder if they kept the formula the same as Alabaster. Tia

Thanks! Does Aloe butter contain coconut oil?

I have big lips, lol. I can't live without really good lip balms and lipsticks
Recently I've been having a really hard time finding anything that works. In fact, I just started using Deep Renewel Blistex and it seems to be making my lips worse. In the past I've used Burt's Bee, Neosporin Lip Health and others but they make my lips peel. I use Mary Kay or Bareminerals lipstick and they work better than most dept store brand lipsticks for me. But I hate to wear lipstick to bed, kwim?
I don't make bath & body products but I just wondered if any of you who are really experienced in creating lip balms would know what kind of ingredients I need to look for in a product that works and what I need to stay away from. Tia

I am also interested in the ingredients list but its not on their website. If you know another supplier that carries Soapers Choice they may have a list. Thanks.
I've never used this soap. But I ran across this website and while searching info about different M&P soap, I saw your request.
Ingredients: Propylene Glycol, Sorbitol, Glycerin, Goat Milk, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Stearate, Sodium Myristate, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Triethanolamine, Water, Titanium Dioxide
When labeling your product, additives incorporated at 3% should be listed after Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate.
I got the list of ingredients from http://www.soapgoods.com/Crafters-Choice-Goats-Milk-p-986.html This was for their goats milk but they have the list for each soap they offer

Beautiful!!!

Lol, I looked & ordered!!! Oh well, I needed wicks anyways
-
You don't actually make candles with this wax. It is used to prime the wicks only. It probably has a melt point of about 212* like some of the other wick waxes. I'm wondering how many miles of wick a case would wax.
Oops, my bad! :embarasse
Thanks for clearing that up for me. I just saw the price and looked at no further info
-
Omg!!! I've been reading y'alls post and waiting for someone to say C&S messed up on their pricing.
I can't imagine the mark up on candles made with that wax!!!
-
Did you see under notes *Animal Sources, the perfume that has GOAT HAIR notes!
:laugh2:
-
I read on Cajun's Candle Facebook that not onlyare the ingredients in spicy f/o's are going way up in price but also the ingredients for buttery notes are too. The owner stated they are dicontinuing their Blueberry Cobbler.
Has anyone else heard of other f/o's being affected by this?

-does anyone have a hands down pumpkin pie fragrance supplier? I cannot find one that I like- CS is weak and the souffle is awful (burnt smell)
I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who doesn't like the Pumpkin Souffle, lol. It's strong but doesn't sell here. I recently got a sample of Aztec's Pumpkin Spice I really like it and it's doing great in Parasoy. It's a spicey one though.

I've never done woodwicks but I have used coconut oil in soy before. Have you tried that?
-
I believe it is $100 min. Some are min 6 and some are min 12; but mix and match. Wholesale is roughly half. Keep in mind Meijer now sells them. Check which ones in your store and pricing. Illumination sell for $12 in my store. They don't carry all colors though.
Thank you for the info. We don't have a Meijer store anywhere around here.
-
I think my customers will like these. They like the look of the Scentsy warmers but don't want to pay $30 for one.
-
I've never done any soaping before but I thought of you guys when I saw these
Ya'll may have seen them before though.
-
Thanks Girlie!!! They sound like they do business like Jackel. I can handle that as long as I don't have to place a $300 order, lol.
I miss talking to you!!! I'm finished with my academic classes right now and waiting to sign up for nursing spring semester. I thought I would try to fill some request.
Boy has the candle world changed!!!
-
I've ordered wholesale from Jackel before and a few other companies but never from candlewarmers.com. I was wondering if anyone here could tell me what their minimum order is. And do you pay the price in their catalog or once you sign up wholesale if its a cheaper price.
Tia
This is one of the warmers I like and its priced $14.99 online catalog
