I know it can get costly. I have bought sample packs for tons of companies and now I have all this fragrance left you can't get rid of. I call it the stinky stuff. I let my customers smell them and tell me what they think.
But the big test is getting the right soy. I still have not figured out which one is right for me.

Seeing I am still learning about soy, I was wondering if I will have to buy different fragrance's from different companies just to get the right mixture ?

geekrunner would you mind telling me where the wax comes from?
Same for you AngelaVA..
I have to be open for different wax.
Candlemama I suppose you use BC's fragrances to? I was on there web site yesterday and saw that they have fragrance for soy.
Will and of this soy work for tarts, pillars or votives? I know some wax is made just for the tarts, pillars and votives. I do sell allot of different types of my candles and I make cake candles and hate to give them up but I cannot see making them with soy.
Maybe I am wrong.. if anyone does make soy cakes Please let me know.
Thanks

Guess I should start off with asking what is a good soy wax to try, and do I need some additives for it ?
I see some of you get wicks from Joe and that is where I have got mine for several years now. Joe is a great person to work with.
Are there special wicks to use in soy?
This will get me started...

Good afternoon all. I just found this site this morning and wanted to say hi to all.
I have been making candles for about 6 years now and would like to get information on soy. I did soy wax once and had a bad experiance with it and left it at that. With all the new products on the market I thought I would look into it again..
So I hope you all don't mind me asking lots of questions about the Soy. Someone just told me I should post here in the veggie section... So here I am
Thanks

where do you get the GW464, if you dont mind me asking. I see several people on here use it.
I enjoy making candles but I really like making cake candles. I like a challenge. Jar candles I sell allot of and this is why I thought of going to the soy. I now blend my own wax for my jars but just thought I might throw some soy candles in with the others. Mix it up a bit.. or should I say... confuse my customers more.
