I love 'em!

Thanks for the kindness....I think they are really strange looking-I was a bit embarrased to post them after looking at all of the beautiful creations here. Trial and error, ya know? Candlemaking is so fun!

My very first layer attempt. I'm not a great photographer, this is very shiny wax hence "the glare". I'm pretty pleased with the colors, but need to work on this technique. I got a "ripple effect" between layers (I let them cool totally between layers) and a bit of "bleeding"....back to the melting board! It's so inspiring to look at all of your beautiful creations...thanks for sharing! This hobby is incredibly addictive!

Wow! Good company!
My newfound hobby is borderlining obsession and I LOVE it! What a great challenge to find the perfect mixture of wax, wicks and scent! I created an "example" brochure for my fanatsy business and have sold 4 candles! Gotta buy more wax. Gotta buy more molds!! More scents! Soap bases! Packaging! If only one day, my scratch and lose lottery ticket would go the other direction, and if only these floors would sweep themselves!
scuse me while I melt something!

I'm making Mason jar candles and bought some glue dots to secure the wicks. The minute I pour the wax it slides all over the place. Does anyone have the ultimate method for keeping the wicks in place? Do I need a glue gun? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
