Had a fundraiser for an animal shelter cancelled this week because one of the main gals became a "scentsy seller". She is doing it now with scentsy. Hopefully this phase will pass like all of the other rages I have survived in my candle business the past 9 years. The scentsy sellers are everywhere here. They trip over themselves at craft shows. Can u have too much? sure hope so. Would be too bad if they ran out of buyers from being oversaturated.

Look great on the first ones. The red and any others like that, maybe wait a longer before you pour your wax. I pour pretty cool, like speghetti sauce. Get perfect tops no matter what size jars.

What wax is a food parafin wax? Had a Scentsy rep telling me today at a craft show that scentsy wax bars are so much better than regular parafin wax bars because they use a food parafin wax. She couldn't tell me what that meant for sure, had to get to another customer. I was NOT a customer as I make my own 100% Soy wax candles. Just curious what she meant by that.

They are one in the same, maybe the name change to fool people? don't fool me one bit. Wondered if anybody else saw that.

I agree. They never answer emails. I finally called them after 5 weeks I had not received my order. The lady that answered the phone says she doesn't email?!?! and only answers the phone from 1-3 p.m. How can they have an online business? She said was sorry I didn't get my order, that is must have been on back order, and would send out asap. It came 3 days later. Isn't that odd. They had my money and no word on what was going on. They have some nice oils and some good oils and some not so good and some are fantastic. But I refuse to order from them anymore. There are so much better suppliers out there.

Had customers asking for Red Berry & Cedar and Sparkling Cinnamon from the Yank** collections. Have searched many places and see nobody with dupes.. any ideas??

Hi All, have a quesion for you. Here's the deal... sold items, got paid for them at a bit of a cut in order to get rid of eveything, so got a bit less than I was asking. But ok. It was gone. yipee! Shipped out using USPS, they didn't want prioprity- only parcel and no mention of insurance. Checked the prices, only a couple bucks total in difference. I sent it out after paid at what they wanted- parcel. fine and dandy. no problem. The person gets the box, almost a full week later if not longer, and said something was missing! What? get to talking and couple things missing and the box has been retaped.

So my question of the day is... what to do about it. Do I give $$ for the amount missing although I know it was all there? Do I go 1/2 or do I do nothing? I honestly wonder that USPS wrecked the box and didn't put stuff back. I hate problems like this. Any suggestions???

I have been seeing alot of what is called disc floating candles on ebay. They would be awesome to make for my sisters wedding this fall. Does anybody know where to find the molds to make these? Does anybody know if you use a silicone mold or a flat plastic mold?

our local school is looking for the containers that hold the "5 -day offering candles" that has a cross on it often used in various churches. Does anyone know where to find these?
