  1. Just an update. My son's teacher loved the gifts and I have a few orders from office staff and other teachers.

MTNGRL you asked..do u have a dipped bear that u've had for awhile? wondering whether or not it attracts & holds dust.

I have a cow I dipped 4 yrs ago and it does collect dust but every once in a while I give her a good cleaning with the blow dryer.. The scent is vanilla and even after all these yrs she still smells great.

  2. My son has caught the candle making bug LOL..We made his teachers Christmas gifts this weekend. I wanted the candles to be well cured before he gives it to her during their Christmas party toward the Christmas break. 8oz Smooth JJ .Ezsoy and Angel as the scent. Tarts are Angel scent as well. I haven't wax dipped the bear yet. But I plan on using Angel on that too. For some reason the colors on the pics make it look pink but it's red.

  3. I redid my sons room and was going through his closet and came across some bears I did 2 years ago in a vanilla scent.. I had a craft show and had packed them in a box. Of course they were wrapped in cello.I could not believe it was as strong as the day I dipped it.I am using one now in his bedroom and still after 2 weeks it smells his whole bedroom up.

  4. I use MS Publisher.I like it.. As stated before test print first on a sheet of paper. MS has free templates on thier web site for different label sizes but sometimes it takes a little tweaking. What I usually do is design the label in paint shop pro then import to MS Publisher.

  5. I have always bought from BCS but when BCN ran thier sale on the closeout specials, I had to order.. I got replies same day I ordered, they shipped it a couple of days later and I already have it!! And the shipping was not bad either!! I was thinking maybe they would be a little slow because of the $5.99 sale on the closeouts.. but I am very satisfied. OBTW I did it through PP

  6. Try and find out who you registered the domain with. Freeservers is just a host right? Most host go through a domain server to register domain names as they get a kick back for selling the domain names. My host always sends me my domain name register and also the domain name server contacts me.I pay just $32.00 a year for 100MB space and 2000MB bandwidth and domain registraition.

  7. I agree with 3 bees...I was one to be impatient and pour at too hot of temp. and my candles were ugly.. Then one day I was making candles I just had poured cooled a little and added my FO .. A friend had stopped by and I forgot about my wax.. When I finally returned I thought oh no this is a slushy mess,, It was already white looking really slushy.. I poured it into my jars anyway and when the wax set it was the smoothest soy candle I ever made... So let the EZsoy get slushy.. I usally pour at 97 degrees,,,

  8. Well My sister-in-law and I decided to take the first letters in our names and so I bought the domain name as D And M Scentsational gifts. She and my brother moved away and since I was the one doing all the work and buying all the supplies plus buying the domain name and 5 years of hosting I renamed it Dreams and Memories Scentsational gifts. I have decided to do this alone than as a partnership, as I found out ,is not a good idea for me as I believe everyone should be equal in working as well as sharing the profits..

  9. Hey that is a great idea...So I tried it out yesterday.. With orange marmalade and a little vanilla velvet and a touch of spiced apple.. My niece came over and wanted all the candles I made with the scents LOL.. It smelled a lot like orange spice tea my mom makes each holiday season. I would consider it maybe a holiday season scent. I used equal amount of the scents as I had just less than an ounce of each. I do hope after the cure it still smells good. BTW I used ezsoy in 8 oz jj. No dyes

  10. I bought some FO s on Ebay several months ago. I know, I know!! Any how.. These things were so diluted that even bayberry scent smell had nothing but a very slight scent but the oil it was diluted with was more over powering. I did write the lady about them and she offered to have me send them back and she would do a refill. She wanted me to pay shipping to her and then back with the refills. I told her it wasn't worth it to me. I see now she is no longer an Ebay member. Now here is my question.. what do they normally cut FOs with? It doesn't smell like any oil I smelt before. Also why do they dilute oils? Thanks In Advanced
