You need to test in jars half full to find wick size.
Thank you!

I have been working with IGI 4630 for over a month. Have finally found wicks that work in so much as good flame, melt pool but, little to no HT
Short 8oz canning jar
3” diameter
IGI 4630
8% Macintosh Apple (FC)
Eco 10 maybe to hot? ( burning up fragrance?)
heated to 185
FO @ 180
poured @ 160

Thank you for your reply!! I will go with their recommendations!

I have read comments that make me wonder if wicking a glass container calls for different wicks than same size tin.
What size LX wick would you suggest for 8oz round Tin with 8% FO, pastel color using IGI 4630 wax?
Any guidance would be very appreciated.

Using 6006 with 8% FO
since it is more the 1oz/1lb I have been wicking 8oz jelly jar with LX 16, 18
HTP 104, 44-36-18z
Very new to this and realize I must pay my dues 😳
No H scent throw.
just received IGI 4630 with this wax plan to use 8% as well.
I am asking for wick suggestions or when the candle site mentions wick up 1, 2 or 3 times when does this apply?
I was hoping to make some gifts however, what I have is a box full of jelly jars full of wax that I’m not sure what to do with.
I’m not using any coloring.

You are correct. I jump to the “ finally a win” much to early when in fact it isn’t a win just much closer than I have got to before. This is a challenging yet fun hobby.
