At what temperature are you adding the dye?

Hi Dee, are you keeping logs of the pour temperatures you've tried?
Pouring at the slush stage for C3 seems to prevent 95% of frosting for me.

I use rubbing alcohol to remove FO and wax from my clothing then follow up with a detergent.

Have you reached out to the supplier to address this issue? What did they say about it?

I started with ready rolls when the tissue came in different colors. I use the wrap pack ex now for everything.
Hmmmmmm you've definitely got my gears turning. I'm not ready to make that jump just yet...but I can definitely see heading there in the summer. Thank you for sharing!

Looks similar to the Geami wrap, but in a pre-formed sleeve.
Very pretty!
Looking that up led me to RanPak's Ready Roll...which I think is the exact same material but in a roll...looks much more cost-effective. Thank you!

I recently stumbled upon the fruit wrap cushioning (no idea what it's really called). Only downside is that it's Styrofoam--I was really trying to to eco-friendly
Was tired of jars breaking despite using paper cushion, despite using packing peanuts. So now, every glass container that goes out the door is wrapped in this then placed in a box, THEN packaged with peanuts, and God speed!!
Broken containers were killing me with sending replacements (I don't give refunds)
A bit late here, but PaperMart has paper sleeves that I'm trying out with my glass candles; test shipments have proven great so far! It's their "Flexi-Hex" product (I use the one that's 3" deep, but this one in the picture is for a wine bottle or something). I'm still trying to figure out pricing them into my model, as they're about $0.50 per candle, but I'm very impressed. Plus storage for the supplies is minimal; they store flat!

A little late, but I'm a PC user and have a good time using the Adobe Suite: Premier Pro for videos, Photoshop and Illustrator for pictures and graphics. There are simpler programs for sure, but I make a lot of music videos with multiple camera angles and the Premiere Pro makes that incredibly easy to sync!

I have the Palo Santo from CandleWic...it smells lovely, but doesn't have the earthy sage quality I was expecting. Also haven't gotten it to HT yet, but that's my own problem I think!

Hi! Thank you so much for sharing your process. I have four more pounds of it sitting here so I will give that a try. Right now I am working with 6006 and doing my best to learn how it behaves... I had to pick a wax and just commit. Trying too many things at once gets overwhelming. So far I am liking the 6006 especially now that we are getting acquainted! How are you liking the SB1000 in terms of hot throw and wicking?
HT is pretty good around the 5-7 day cure time, quite a bit stronger than just C3 (which is disappointing to me because I've been trying to nail down C-3 forever haha). Quite good at 2-weeks cure time.
For wicking I had to go one to two sizes down from my C-3 wicks in the same vessel.

I picked this wax up too in December! With SB1000, I pre-heat my vessels and then pour around 130F. Every once in a while I get the sinkholes, but for the most part they come out beautifully.
How do you control the wax temperature from falling?

I often put my pouring pitcher back in my double boiler pot when I'm pouring tester batches; definitely haven't seen a detrimental effect to the hot throw.
