I recently purchased 464 and have been weighing exactly 16oz of wax and 1.5oz of FO.
I haven been adding FO at 180F
and 5-7 colour dye drops And slowly stirring for few minutes and allowing wax to cool until about 145f , and pour wax at that temp. Meanwhile i also pre- heat my oven to 150f and heat up jars and then take them out to cool down for few minutes before pouring wax. I allow candle to cure for 3-5 days . Majority of the scents have good CY but no HT.
I am also using a wood wick.
can anyone please give me some tips in what im doing wrong . I have already gone through a 10lb box of wax and have yet to make a candle that has a strong HT.
