I love the smell of anise too. It is very warming. I do not like the taste of black licorice though. Either way, beautifulll soaping!
That's a great name for it. Well I think Anise (Licorice) is a love or hate scent. You either ADORE it or absolutey LOATH it. I am in the ADORE camp but I can see it wouldn't be something that a woman would use as a body soap just before going into the office for the day, lol. I think it would be a great hand soap for those that cook with onions and garlic. I know I will use it as a hand soap at least after doing my stable chores and I being french do use alot of onions and garlic in my cooking so it works for meOh, I make orange anise kitchen soap and hand scrub with eo's, and people love it!

The black clay is really slick - comes right off in the first use, sending black suds down the drain - probably because I used too much. The rest of the bar lathers great and is very smooth and silky feeling. I gave it to DH and he really likes it.
You could call it a "black bubbles bar"!

I am totally impressed.

Rocking!

supercute!

It is MP. The scent is a blend of several floral FOs.
PA, it does not seem overpowering. I do not like florals much either, it is just a few drops of different ones I had left. It is not nearly as much FO as I would use of a fruit or sweet scent.
-
It is a bunch of florals all mixed together. I named it Glamour Garden.

(sorry about the picture quality)
This is the first one I did. Every year my employer does an event called "Basketmania". Somehow I got put in charge of coordinating this, and my unit decided on the a Harry Potter theme. I was thinking of what I can do (in a crafty way) to make a contrubition. I am painting the basket we are using. I was at the craft store wondering around and I saw these pewter beads with moon and stars, and it came to me...
Next I made this for myself. I am sorry you have to look at my foot, but this is the only way I could get a good picture of it showing the correct coloring.

My containers seem to get better with age too. I only make pillars and such to order, so I am not really sure about those.

I can help with HP questions but I don't know squat about CP since I have never tried it.
-
I only do HP and I have never did a water discount. I have never had any dos probmes either.
Also, Angel91805, I have never had this bar tun out soft, it is usually very hard actually. I wonder why it is being all soft. Soap sure can be strange.
-
Yese I superfat ata at 5 percent. I have never tried it with any other supefat percentage. And I do not have problems with the grapeseed oil. I only do hp and I do the recipe exactly as it is.
-
I think it looks great.
-
When I made it it was kind of hard too and needed to be softer. I only ever tried to make it once though.
-
You only have to register it if you want to prohibit others from using it. I am not sure how you trademark something though.
