A great supplier of essential oils is lgbotanicals.com. Not the cheapest but everything I have purchased is swoon-worthy.

It can depending on the FO. I use an EO blend with vanilla that turns a O/W lotion from white to off-white and that's at a very small percentage. The blend is dark on its own so I'm not surprised. I have from way back the non-discoloring vanilla from lebermuth but its my least favorite vanilla and I'll eventually just use in a candle.

Yes, as long as it isn't heat sensitive it can be included in water phase. If it is heat sensitive you can mix powdered extracts into a solvent like glycerin or propanediol to eliminate lumps or graininess.

I tested the Lab & Co Palo Santo in 464 about a year ago. I was super disappointed with the results. Not much of a throw and just okay scent. It may have been a different version from what they now offer since they either renamed some of their fragrances are reformulated them.

Hi Candybee, here are some fast penetration oils to consider. Fast: flaxseed, rosehip, hemp seed, evening primrose, rice bran. Fast-Medium: grapeseed, argan, camellia, meadowfoam and baobab. Also, technically an emollient, squalane enhances absorption into the tissues. I personally like baobab since it can handle the heat phase without degrading the oil. I was working on a moisturizer over the summer with the same goal of quickly absorbing into the skin and used a blend of cupuacu butter, squalane, baobab and almond. I became a big fan of cupuacu butter for its healing and absorption properties.

Recently had to get some honey FO for a client and have (Honey) from Bulk Apothecary and Honey (Honeycomb) from SaveOnScents. Both are good single-note honeys. Going with the SaveOnScents version for the blend.
