I am in love with NG's absinthe
ditto that
-
The list from NG is a mile long. Try and narrow down what kind of scents you like.
-
you really need to buy some and test them for yourself to see how each one works.
That wasn't necessary. If you didn't know the answer to her question why bother posting?
-
Chappyyyk,
Aim high and don't let anyone tell you how to start or where to go. There is no one right way to start. The order of the steps is not as important as the steps themselves. If you want to figure out packaging and the name before you figure out how to make a good candle then do it! Just make sure you learn how to make a good candle before you open a shop.
I agree. I think it's great to set your sights high. What you do with that is up to you. I bet the lady who created Scentsy is happy she didn't let anyone discourage her.

If you can't afford the $402...they do offer 1 pound packages for $10.75. Just saying....LOL!
No, I still want the 50# box. LMAO
-
very pretty
-
Well that is just too amazing. I see things in that soap too, LOL.
-
Simply stunning!
-
LOL, I meant you will be wading through it via post after post after post, not fodder about you but about anything and everything in the universe to prove you wrong.
-
If you stick around here long enough you will no doubt be the victim of countless google searches, extensive Wikipedia research and enough c/p to make it into a book, by certain members. I am willing to bet you can already guess and the first two count.

UMMM Stella, I wasn't asking to be spoon fed asking what a mandle is. Are you on crack? Spoon fed would be this. "I want to make gel candles. Please tell me everything I want to know and make it quick and easy in one post". It was an innocent question and no need for you to answer it with your sarcastic, superior attitude, as always. Spoon fed, how utterly ridiculous.

Thanks for reminding me of that by demonstrating your lack of understanding of the concept. Others have attempted to keep order in the ranks and you did not reply to their messages, only mine, so please feel free to ignore mine as well. When a member posts accusations, I am free to question them about their statements just as you are free to question this new member in his "welcome" thread and share your disparaging opinion about some of the work he freely shared.
Fact checking Rich's story took a very quick search by Google. Would also have answered the previous question about mandles.
Sorry for the hijack, Rich. Carry on.
Sorry Stella, I don't live on google. Funny though you checked him out, LMFAO. Do you check us all out?
I just wanted to check out what he sold or sells on ebay which is actually none of your business.

The market on gel candles fell out about 7 years ago. At that time I had the biggest gel candle store on Ebay. I do not use a website and I don't make very many gel candles anymore. I actually joined this forum to offer advice and sell of my supplies.
what was your ebay seller name?
Also, your candles are not all that especially the x-mas one with a santa floating about.

WHAT is a mandle?
-
Yes, very beautiful website.
-
You can get wax at DP morris in New Lenox, probably 50 minutes for you. No more expensive Hobby Lobby, LOL
-
I live right down the road. What craft show are you in?
-
JMO, never but a candle in an oven on broil. A heat gun works just fine and takes a second.

Hi Mia, I have used both their base and reeds. They are about the same as any I have bought from elsewhere. For me it is hard finding scents that last with diffusers. I went through a lot of base oil trying. Hopefully someone will jump in who has had better luck than me.
I use them for decoration only now because they have such pretty botanical looking reeds in Michaels and Hobby Lobby and they match my decor, LOL.
-
Yyou know someone will light one of those curled wicks as is. Why do that?
-
I have to agree on the butterscotch bread pudding, french vanilla morning, amish harvest.
-
Hopefully that hopeless website totally crashed along with their web creator and some other genius can have a crack at creating a brand new one that we can actually shop on without pulling half our hair out. Wouldn't that be peachy.

I got page not found

That is a very creative idea. Wonder who thought of it originally?
