Does anyone make or know how to make the cooling bandanas?

that usually sells these doesn't do it anymore.

Thanks everyone for all the wonderfull comments.
I have to say. I have carved thousands of cut/curl candles in my time... and sold all different kinds. You are easily in the top 5%.What are your plans? Sell them retail? Wholesale? Craft only?
Fill me in.
Right now I'm only doing a few local craft shows a year. I just started doing this part time almost a year ago, I work a full time job too. I haven't thought much about retail or wholesale. They don't seem to sell to well so far except around Christmas time.

Thank you Bruce....I didn't even think about that. I switched to dyes about a month ago but am still using the same wax so there is still pigments in it and I'm sure I did stir up the wax (habit now). I did two dips of clear between the colors because my customer didn't want the white between the colors. If I have time tonight I'll try it both ways and post pics.
Thank You

I'm trying to make a rainbow candle for a customer. When I try to make orange, or purple it looks good when I dip it but when I carve you can see where I dipped it in yellow/red to make the orange. I dipped in yellow/water bath, then in red/water. Should I not dip it in the water before dipping in between the colors? It doesn't look as bad in the photo as it does for real!

Beautiful weather....Show Sucked!
I did this show in December (my first show) and made 7 1/2x booth fee.
I didn't think I would make as much this time....I know people were buying christmas gifts in December, but I thought I would at least make a little!
I only sold three candles (no bunnies) and four mushrooms and two of the candles I sold I didn't even have with me I have to make them! That was the only good thing about the show......A couple remembered me from the Christmas show and came looking for me, I didn't have what they wanted with me (light houses) so they ordered them.
I think the only one who did good in the show was the lady across from me selling jewelry (she made a killing) but even most of her sales were returning customers that came looking for her, half of them were picking up special orders.
Anyone else having luck with small craft shows this time of year?

I use the 4611 also and I like it, if you have a chance to get it cheap I would. I wish I could find some cheap and close....hate those shipping charges!

You might want to try a sample pack of Eco, CD and/or LX. The palm waxes are really cool but they can be a beast to wick. I wish I could give you a clear cut answer as to which wick to try but I can't. Good luck and let us know what you come up with. By the way, your cut-n-carve candles are very nice!
Thank you Sherie,
I should have ordered more samples when I ordered the wax. Up until now the cut & carves the only ones I've made. I always pick the hard ones to start with...don't ask me why??? LOL:D

Hmmm that's gonna be tough with an RRD. The smallest RRD is a 29 and it's recommended for 2-2.25" candles. NOW, that being said, Palm can be a mysterious animal. You could try it, but most likely it will blow out. What kind of wicks do you have?
Right now all I have is the 24 & 45 ply flat braid, and the 3/0 I use for cut & carved candles. I need to order more samples!

My experience with Palm was better using RRD wicks. What is the width (top, middle and bottom) of your candle? Another thing with Palm, they develop air pockets inside during the cool down. You MUST constantly keep your relief holes open and I take my heat gun and hit it every other time I keep the build up melted into my holes. HTH
Top 1 1/4"
Middle 1 1/2"
bottom 1 3/4"
I didn't use heat gun, but did keep poking in relief holes.
